On February 25, Aston Martin La Gongda (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. announced today that as of December 2021, the company's sales volume reached a record high, up 206% year-on-year. Benefiting from growing demand in China, Aston Martin's Asia Pacific region reached a record 1,815 units in 2021, accounting for nearly 30% of Aston Martin's global sales and contributing 30% of its global revenue.

Aston Martin has performed strongly in global markets over the past year, with global sales reaching 6,178 units in 2021, up 82% year-on-year, according to earnings data.

The sales of Aston Martin's first SUV model, the DBX V8, and the DBX STRAIGHT-SIX, a derivative tailored for the Chinese market, contributed significantly to the rapid growth of sales in the Asia-Pacific region. Globally, DBX delivered more than 3,000 units in its first full year of sales in 2021, accounting for approximately 20% of the global ultra-luxury SUV market.

Aston Martin continues to invest in branding and team building, strengthening regional leadership teams and expanding its sales network.
