It is reported that the M5 will start mass delivery in March. The new car is positioned as a new energy medium-sized SUV, and is built based on the pure electric drive range extender platform DE-i, which has a 4-second 0-100km/h acceleration experience and a range of more than 1000km.
In terms of styling, the M5 adopts a new design language, the sharply shaped headlight group with the inverted trapezoidal grille makes its front face look very visually impactful, and the latest brand logo is also hung in the center of the front face. It is understood that the M5 has a total of five car paint colors and three interior colors to choose from.
The M5 adopts a slipback body, and the tail adopts the popular through-type taillight group, and the central part of the taillight also has the brand letter logo AITO. In terms of body size, the new car is positioned as a mid-size SUV with a length, width and height of 4770x1930x1625mm and a wheelbase of 2880mm.
The Q&I M5 adopts a wrap-around cockpit design, the center console is a T-shaped layout, with a 10.4-inch curved full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch semi-suspended central control screen, which further enhances the degree of technology in the car. It is worth mentioning that the M5 is the first to carry the Hongmeng OS intelligent cockpit, so as to achieve easier interactive operation and a more comfortable interactive experience.
In terms of perception system, the M5 is equipped with 1 CMS camera, 1 DMS camera, 1 DVR camera, 1 visual perception camera, 4 APA cameras, 12 long-range ultrasonic radars, and 3 millimeter wave radars, providing L2+ level intelligent driving assistance.
In the power part, the Inquisitive M5, which is based on the pure electric drive extender platform DE-i, continues the extender hybrid system. The M5 power battery has a capacity of 40kWh, a WRTC cruising range of 150km in pure electric mode, and a WLTC cruising range of 1102 km when fully charged. The official acceleration time of 0-50km/h is 1.95 seconds, and the acceleration time of 0-100km/h is 4.4 seconds.
