From March 18, 12 Yue opera plays spanning the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter will be staged in turn at the China Grand Theatre, led by the main force of the 10th generation of young actors of the Shangyue Three Regiments.

At the performance press conference held yesterday, 26 young actors born around 1995 of the three troupes assembled and appeared, and the excerpts of the eight genres of "Liang Zhu" were staged in turn, which was dazzling in youth, reflecting the orderly inheritance of the youngest generation of Shangyue and the complete performance industry, and their frequent performances include "Liang Zhu", "Dream of the Red Chamber", "Peacock Southeast Flying", "Panfu Sofu" and other more than 10 big plays and more than 80 folding plays.
The "Jinse Nianhua" performance is divided into four series of spring, summer, autumn and winter throughout the year, from March 18 to 20, the spring special session will be staged "Folding Zi Drama Special", "Peacock Southeast Flying" and "He Wenxiu". From June 10th to 12th, the summer special performance of the play "Folding Zi Drama", "Green Robe Love" and "Twelve Characters" will be staged. From September 2nd to 4th, the autumn special performance of the play "Folding Zi Drama", "Playing Golden Branch", "Panfusov" and "Home" will be staged in autumn. From December 2nd to 4th, the winter special performances will be held for "Jade Hairpin", "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai", and "Gentleman in Flowers". At that time, the audience will not only enjoy the many genre-representative folding plays and full-length plays inherited by the young actors of the Three Regiments of Joetsu, but also enjoy the original plays tailored for them.

As a stage where Liyuan Grandmaster Mei Lanfang, Ma Lianliang, Meng Xiaodong and other artistic masters have performed, the Chinese Grand Theatre carries the beauty and love of traditional opera from ancient times to the present in the depth of time and space. Shanghai Yue Theatre has deep roots with the Chinese Grand Theatre, and on July 30, 1938, the "Yue Opera Women's Class" was performed in the China Grand Theatre (formerly known as the Renewal Stage), and in October 2019, Shanghai Yue Theatre's "Green Robe Love", specially created for the tenth generation of actors, was also premiered at the China Grand Theatre.
Last year, the "Jinse Nianhua" Shanghai Yue Theater young actors special performance brand project entered the China Grand Theatre. The Invitation Exhibition of Innovative Opera of China Grand Theatre and the Yue Opera Exhibition Season of Shanghai Yue Theatre "Jinse Nianhua" ushered in the first "group breaking the circle", and young Yue opera actors will pass through the beauty of history and present vigorous vitality on the same stage, so that traditional Chinese art forms a vivid echo between the old and the new. This is not only a movement of composing the beauty of traditional culture, but also an exploration of the "opera trend" that extends to the four seasons.
