This year, the Huangpi District Chu Opera Troupe selected the traditional Chu opera folding drama "Zhou Ren Out of the House", "Zhao Yuzhen Pretends to Be Crazy", "Sweeping Song", "Lost Son Crazy", "Killing Four Doors", "June Snow", "Hanging Painting", "Flower Gun", hoping that through these 8 classic folding plays with relatively complete plots and ingenious structure, they will show the different charms of Chu opera's life, Dan, Jing and ugly trades, and light up the vivid and vivid character images in Chu opera.

"For a long time, because Chu opera is a more popular form of performance than Peking Opera and Han opera, Chu opera actors have paid more attention to singing requirements, while the requirements for 'playing' or 'body' in 'singing and doing' are not so strict." In an interview with Jimu News reporter, Li Qiong, head of the Chu Opera Troupe in Huangpi District, said frankly that the times have changed, starting from the aesthetic needs of the current audience, Chu opera should also pay attention to the cultivation of actors' bodies and martial arts standards in addition to singing.
Starting from this "high demand", the 8 folding plays selected by the Huangpi District Chu Opera Troupe can be described as having their own advantages in training the actors' stature and martial arts - the throwing skills in the repertoire of "June Snow" and "Zhao Yuzhen Pretending to Be Crazy" are generally manifested in the fierce and abnormal emotions and situations such as the characters' grief and indignation, panic, dying struggle, and rushing for their lives. Throwing silk, bouncing silk, etc.; the water sleeve skills in "Lost Son Crazy", the basic actions are picking, hooking, bracing, rushing, plucking, yang, throwing, hitting, shaking, etc. With these difficult skills, Li Qiong hopes that the purpose of honing the actor's acting skills, improving the professional skill level of the actor, and promoting the work with drama can be fully achieved.
