Relive Yuan Xuefen's classic Yue opera works

In her artistic career, Yuan Xuefen left less stage video materials; especially in the later stage, in order to cultivate young actors and preside over the construction of Yue opera theory, she took the initiative to give up the stage, and rehearsed very few new plays. The special section "Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of People's Artist Yuan Xuefen" collects many rare video materials to show the artistic process of the Yue opera Yuan School of art that was conceived, developed and matured.

Yuan Xuefen's classic masterpieces, the Yue opera films "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" and "Xianglin Concubine", will be successively on the screen. As one of the four classics of Yue opera, "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" is the first domestic color opera art film in New China, and "Xianglin Sister-in-law" is hailed as a milestone in the reform of Yue opera. These two films have been broadcast many times, and each time they are replayed, they will be welcomed by opera lovers. The images of Zhu Yingtai and Xiang Linyi created by Yuan Xuefen can be called the insurmountable peak of Yue opera Yuan Pai art.

In addition to two widely circulated films, the special edition will also feature three episodes of the TV series "Xianglin Sister-in-Law". The TV series version was rarely broadcast before and was not widely circulated among the audience; this time it was completely presented after being sorted out and repaired, becoming a surprise for fans. Compared with the 90-minute version of the movie and the nearly 30-hour Yue opera TV series, the story content is more detailed, the relationship between the characters, the contradictions and conflicts are more complex, and the audience can feel the process of continuous polishing, modification and perfection of the classic art. The image of the young Xianglin sister-in-law played by Yuan Xuefen in the play also fills the gap in the film version.

In 5 days, the Colorful Drama Channel will also continuously broadcast the album "Famous Artists" "Yuan Xuefen and Her Yuan Pai Art". The album collects Yuan Xuefen's stage performances and television images from different periods; among them, there are well-known singing segments such as "Xi Xiang Ji Qin Xin" and "Double Lie Ji Qua Fu", as well as "Plum Blossom Soul , Heavy Stage Farewell", "Embroidered Hundred Flowers", "Female Looks" and other rare video materials such as news documentaries and early videos.

Show the style of Yuan Pai art

"Acting innocently and singing seriously" is yuan xuefen's sincere teaching left to yue opera people and also to the world, and the language is simple but loud.

The special section will also broadcast four episodes of the character feature film "Listening to Snow - Art Master Yuan Xuefen's Art Record". The feature film takes Yuan Xuefen's interviews and speech materials at different times and on different occasions before her death as the main body, and through her own narration and the memories of teachers, friends and disciples, it shows how a little girl in the eastern mountains of Zhejiang Province grew up to become a Yue opera performance artist. In the program, the audience can see how Yuan Xuefen became self-reliant in Shanghai and led the reform of Yue opera; how to pursue progress and advocate co-performances between men and women after the founding of New China; and how to continue to innovate in her later years, paying attention to the theoretical construction of Yue opera and the cultivation of talents.

What is even more valuable is that "Listening to Snow" excavated and restored the performance clips of "Plum Blossom Soul" in 1959, the live performance of "Embroidered Hundred Flowers" in 1979, and the live performance of Yue opera actors in the 1980s; at the same time, yuan Xuefen's early records such as "Fang Yuniang Crying Pagoda", "Ancient Temple Unjust Soul Dream Society", "A Wisp of Ma Weeping Fu", "Xiangfei Weeping Head", "Liang Zhu Lamenting History • LouTaihui" and other precious video materials were also performed, and Yuan Pai Huadan Fang Yafen and young actors Xu Lai, Huang Ying, Chen Huidi were invited, Yu Jinglan and others sang with the teacher.

The development of Yue opera must not only inherit the tradition, but also develop it. This is the concept that Yuan Xuefen has always adhered to. Although she never formally accepted disciples in her lifetime, the disciples of the Yuan Sect were all over the country, and the art of the Yuan Sect was even more thriving in the new era. In the special section, "A Generation of Grandmasters, a Hundred Years of Flowing Fangs - Commemorating Yuan Xuefen" and "A Generation of Style- A Commemorative Session of Yue Opera Performance Artist Yuan Xuefen" will focus on the style of Yuan Disciples from all over the world.

This year is not only the 100th anniversary of the birth of Yue opera master Yuan Xuefen, but also the 80th anniversary of the reform of Yue opera. The use of television art to commemorate and commemorate the artists of the past has been a tradition since the launch of the Colorful Drama Channel. It is reported that the channel will also present through various forms of screens, showing the innovative spirit of dramatists in the new era, and using the unique charm of opera as a "Chinese voice" to tell Chinese stories and stories of the times.
