In 2020, after the stage play "Red Starting Point" completed the first round of 10 performances in Shanghai, it began its first round of national tour from the birthplace of the party in March 2021. Following the red trajectory of the centenary of the founding of the party, it arrived in Jiangxi, where the spirit of Jinggangshan is located, Shandong, where the spirit of Yimeng is located, Anhui, where the xiaogang village that set off rural reform, Shenzhen, the forefront of reform and development, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Ningbo, the integration demonstration zone of the Yangtze River Delta in the new era, and finally performed 10 consecutive performances at the National Theatre in Beijing on the birthday of the "July 1st" party. 9 cities, a total of 41 performances, to the national audience to bring a century of red memory.

The drama "Red Starting Point" is based on Mr. Ye Yonglie's long-form documentary work "Red Starting Point: Documentary on the Birth of the Communist Party of China", and on the basis of loyalty to the literature and historical materials, the linear narrative structure of the original work is adjusted, and the three-year "memorabilia" of 1919, 1920 and 1921 is selected. It shows the birth process of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai in the form of a political narrative.
The site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China, No. 2 old Yuyangli, No. 6 new Yuyangli... Through the stage, the audience can see a vivid and three-dimensional party history lesson. In the play, "a large conference site" and a red boat on the South Lake have become witnesses and participants in history. The plot is based on the combination of historical stories and character stories before and after the founding of the party, restoring the magnificent historical years. The expression of the stage content of the "memorabilia" makes the whole stage like a slowly unfolding historical picture, we hear the heated discussion, we see the lofty ideals, we feel the pursuit of faith, on the stage, in front of the group portraits that have been constructed, recreate this red memory to the audience - in 1921, the wet and rainy Shanghai, a group of young people, an organization, the name of a conference, the power of faith, gathered in Shanghai, taking the audience closer to that great historical moment that broke new ground.
