Let me tell you the origin of the "Telling the Story of Me and My Father and Mother" story.
In the mid-1990s, I was the editor-in-chief of the domestic and international distribution of City Expo magazine.
During my ten years as editor-in-chief, I learned a lot of knowledge, met many leaders, masters, wise people, mentors and friends, and they all paved the way for my humanistic life and writing, to later university lectures, and to serve as a visiting professor in the Party School.
In 2004, according to the arrangement of the party group leader of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, I was responsible for the comprehensive publication of the magazine "Shaanxi Civil Affairs".
In 2005, I conducted sunshine psychological education for the children of China's first prisoners and the children of Xi'an Children's Village for three years, which was promoted and vigorously appreciated by governments at all levels and the media.
In the summer of 2005, at an academic seminar at Peking University, Dr. Li Liang of Peking University proposed that I write a book and compile the content of my lectures to children in children's villages into psychological textbooks and replicate them nationwide. And proposed that I hold graduate classes across the country to train more sunshine psychology teachers and benefit this educational cause.
Now it seems that Dr. Li Liang's proposal is very far-sighted and insightful, but due to the difficulties at that time, it did not come to fruition, and it is only now that we have the National Song Xin Sunshine Psychological Education and Love Joint Association.
After returning from the meeting in Beijing, I began to write a book for the children of Xi'an Children's Village according to Dr. Li Liang's proposal, that is, the "Into the Children's Hearts and Minds of Children's Villages" that everyone saw.
This book was jointly funded by our president Li Jinying, general manager Song Zhiguo, and general manager Zheng Yongqiang.
After the publication of this book, we soon passed it on to various children's villages across the country and became a psychological teaching material for children in distress.
I remember that when I went to Baoji Long County with President Niu Yifang and President Tian Jingxiu to establish a psychological base the year before, the president of the Baoji Children's Welfare Institute took out this book and told me, President Song, that this has always been the teaching material for the children in the children's village.
I was deeply moved. Because this book has been published for nearly ten years, it can be seen that the dean is cherishing it with his heart.
I remember that when the book was almost finished, I was ready to write a preface, and I thought about it for a long time, how to write this preface?
It occurred to me that I should write "The Story of Me and My Father" and dedicate this book to my beloved father, Mr. Song Jihao.
I am grateful for the cultivation that my father gave me, grateful for the influence of my father's noble qualities on my life, and grateful for my father for letting me assume this social responsibility.
So I quickly wrote "My Father and Me Story."
I was working at the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. Excellent leaders, many talented women, talents, everyone is reading the article, the respected director Chang Zhidong proposed:
Song Xin, you should publish "The Story of My Father and Me" in the magazine "Shaanxi Civil Affairs" so that everyone in the civil affairs system of the province can see this touching story.
At the suggestion of Director Chang, I published the article "My Story and My Father" in the magazine "Shaanxi Civil Affairs".
I didn't expect the social effects and impact it would have.
Our magazine is printed in the shaanxi provincial party committee printing house. That day, when I just stepped through the door of the printing plant, the director told me, Director Song, that the whole factory was reading the story of you and your father.
I was very touched and said: Thank you to the factory director, thank you to all the friends who appreciate.
A week after the publication of the magazine "Shaanxi Civil Affairs", the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs held a meeting of leading cadres of civil affairs work in the province, and at this meeting, Director Song of the Tongchuan Civil Affairs Bureau said a sentence that I still remember.
Director Song said: There are many daughters under the heavens, but there are a few like Song Xin who record the story of her father and tell the father's love for her, which is to inherit the family style and tutoring.
15 years later, when I told the story of my father, this article was praised by many leaders in the province and has always been imprinted in my heart.
I remember that on the Qingming Festival in 2020, when I released the article "My Story and My Father' Story" again, Ma Rong, director of the Civilization Office of the Xi'an Municipal Party Committee, said: "Tribute to the great educator Mr. Song Jihao!"
The profound wisdom and meaningful language of the beautiful Director Ma Rong gave me endless motivation to do a good job in education.
In recent years, our national Song Xin Sunshine psychological education has flourished. I was particularly touched that the directors of our various psychological bases overcame all difficulties and led the children to read Song Mom's "Teenage Life Maxims" every day, so that the children were sunny and confident.
The directors of the excellent psychological base, that is, with illness and young children, must find a way to send the children's letters to Song's mother to my hands, so that I can grasp the results of front-line psychological teaching in a timely manner. to promote the development of this difficult and great sunshine psychological education cause.
I suddenly thought that with so many excellent talents, there must be excellent parents behind them to teach and cultivate.
So I started the column "Telling the Story of Me and My Parents".
