There was no lively opening ceremony, no warm seminar, in the No. 6 exhibition hall on the first floor of the National Art Museum of China, the audience could feel the dedication and sincerity of art to a "soil" painter who was nearly eighty years old and had been rooted in the grassroots of Hunan folk for many years. This is Fu Zhenxin's first solo exhibition at the National Art Museum of China. "Xiangqing Xiangyun - Fu Zhenxin Painting Art Exhibition" is sponsored by Hunan Provincial Artists Association.
On the afternoon of February 19, Wu Weishan, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, director of the National Art Museum of China, vice chairman of the China Artists Association, and leading experts from the National Art Museum of China came to the upcoming "Xiangqing Xiang rhyme - Fu Zhenxin Painting Art Exhibition" to visit the old artist Fu Zhenxin and visit the works in the exhibition. Director Wu Weishan had a cordial conversation with Fu Zhenxin and invited him to take a group photo. Director Wu Weishan praised Mr. Fu Zhenxin for taking root in the grassroots for many years, which is not easy, it can be said that "from the people to the people, art serves the people."
Fu Zhenxin is a member of the China Artists Association, the president of the Beachhead New Year Painting Research Association, the former consultant of the Comprehensive Materials Art Committee of the China Artists Association, the former chairman of the Artists Association of Shaoyang City, Hunan, and the consultant of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Professional Committee of the Beijing Xiangxiang Enterprise Chamber of Commerce. His works were selected for the 4th, 6th, 7th and 9th National Art Exhibitions and other 11th Asian Games Art Exhibitions. He has won the gold medal of the art exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in Hunan Province, and was selected to present the national exhibition celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the gold medal of the Third National Book Stamp Exhibition, the national "Lu Xun Printmaking Award", and the grand prize of the First International Print biennale in the Netherlands in 1993. His representative work "Hitting the Mud" was selected into the "Complete Collection of Modern Chinese Art".
With the theme of "Xiangqing And Rural Rhyme", the exhibition will exhibit more than 50 paintings by Fu Zhenxin that absorb the essence of Hunan Tantou New Year paintings and Xiangchu art, reflect the historical evolution and customs of Huxiang, and have a strong national and folk art personality, as well as related creative tools and documents. Mr. Li Xiqin, Fu Zhenxin's mentor, a famous printmaker and a 90-year-old professor at the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, gladly wrote the title of the exhibition. Dai Daquan, a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University and a famous printmaker, served as the academic host of the exhibition.
In 1943, Fu Zhenxin was born in Xiangxiang Township, Hunan Province, to a family of scholars, and later engaged in grassroots cultural and art creation in Shaoyang for a long time. During the Cultural Revolution, he was sent to huayao cottage in Xuefeng Mountain to work and receive re-education. Since then, he has formed an indissoluble relationship with hunan local folk art, especially deeply influenced by the beachhead woodblock prints, and has devoted himself to research and creation in this area for decades. After the 1980s, he was fortunate to be selected to study at Hunan Normal University and Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, under the famous painters Li Xiqin and Professor Liu Wenxi, and his artistic creation began to enter a new realm. He explored the innovative integration and transformation of folk art and modern art, and gradually formed a unique and distinctive artistic language and creative style.
Fu Zhenxin has a special love for the inheritance and innovation of Huxiang culture, especially the tantou folk woodblock prints and Huayao culture. His works integrate national traditions, folk art and modern modeling consciousness into one, forming his own unique artistic style. Its prints and heavy colors, the pursuit of bright and hot colors, the image of childish and simple, not only give the new era of life interest, but also give the earthy atmosphere and national folk art pure and simple charm, widely loved by the industry and the public. In his works, the rich and simple nostalgia and nostalgia style comes to the face, and the vivid and vivid artistic image stirs people's hearts.
Mr. Shao Dazhen, a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and a well-known art critic, once wrote an article commenting: "I really appreciate his prints and heavy colors. The artistic language of these works is unique, with simplicity, childishness and witty humor from folk art, healthy and clear feelings, and high artistic taste and style. In addition to discovering new expressive content from traditional themes in folk art, Fu Zhenxin is also constantly exploring new themes and expressing new boiling life. His creative path is getting wider and wider, and his artistic language is becoming richer and richer. Industry experts such as Wang Luxiang and Dai Daquan also highly appreciated his artistic creation.
Fu Zhenxin said: "I was born fortunate to be nourished by the vast and thick Huxiang culture, and I am related to the magical land of Longhui Beachhead. The beautiful landscape here has become the root of my life; the traditional printmaking here has become the soul of my art; the industrious and simple people here have become the source of my creative career. For more than half a century, I have taken root here, indulged in Danqing, worked hard, and persisted in the new artistic expression of folk painting, gradually formed my own printmaking and heavy color painting style, and made my own modest efforts to carry forward the Culture of The Great Lake Xiang. In his later years, he settled in Beijing, and in addition to his old age, he still worked tirelessly, and often returned to his hometown to collect sketches and draw artistic inspiration. This time, I have the honor to exhibit some of my representative works over the years at the National Art Museum of China, hoping to add a new year flavor to the Capital Festival, make a little effort to carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the nation, and add color to the new style of the new era! ”
