Co-sponsored by the Shanghai Qingpu District Culture and Tourism Bureau and the People's Government of Baijiantan District, Karamay City, Xinjiang, the "'Beauty of Imprints' - Printmaking Exchange Exhibition between Qingpu District and Baijiantan District" opened today in the exhibition hall of the Qingpu District Cultural Center. It is reported that the exchange exhibition brought together more than 60 masterpieces of printmaking artists from Qingpu District and Baijiantan District, so that Shanghai citizens can experience the unique culture from different regions and different nationalities at their doorstep, and meet the diversified cultural needs of the masses.
According to reports, the Qingpu team went to Xinjiang last autumn, and the Baijiantan printmaking team visited Qingpu again this summer, and the painters of the two places collided with sparks of inspiration in the exchange.
In this exhibition, the "24 Views of Qingpu" series is a highlight, and the audience feels the poetry and romance of Jiangnan and the pulse of the city when appreciating the beautiful paintings.
This printmaking exchange exhibition is also a vivid practice of cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two places. After the opening ceremony, a seminar on the theme of "Printmaking Exchange and Creation in Qingpu District and Baijiantan District" was held, and the artists and artists in the exhibition had an active discussion.
