Not to be outdone, domestic Internet companies have also entered the game, such as Alibaba, Tencent, JD.com, ByteDance, and Baidu.

Since the metaverse swept the Internet, everyone is familiar and unfamiliar with the metacosm. Familiarity is listening to it over and over again, strangeness is watching it again and again. It is reported that the automotive industry has also set off a meta-universe fever.

Can you put it simply, what exactly is the metacosm? What happens when a car falls in love with the Metacosm?

1. Where is sacred

Until now, the metaverse has not been recognized as defined, and there are many reports, and the public is not ignorant.

Facebook CEO Zucker Berg said that the platform and media in the metaverse stage will make people feel more immersive, and you will not only watch from the sidelines, but be in the "physical Internet".

Chen Xu, founder of MetaZ, a think tank for metaverses and future assets, explains that the metacosm is a possible digital world in which people can freely participate and live together in independent digital identities.

Dave Baszucki, CEO of Roblox, which works with Hyundai Group, believes that the metaverse consists of 8 fundamental elements: identity, friends, immersion, low latency, diversity, anytime, anywhere, economic system, and civilization.

Baidu Encyclopedia: The metacosm is essentially a virtualized and digitized process of the real world, which requires a lot of transformation of content production, economic systems, user experience, and physical world content. However, the development of the metacosm is gradual, supported by shared infrastructure, standards and protocols, and finally formed by the continuous integration and evolution of many tools and platforms.

Simply put it this way: the metaverse is the next generation of the Internet, a new thing that can bring people an immersive experience.

The metaverse, like the current Internet, requires the help of software technology and hardware carriers, and can only be infinitely close to the real world, but it is ultimately virtual. Unlike the Internet, the metacosm is more powerful and infinitely closer to the real world. For example, if you use WeChat to video with lovers, the texture is always close to the flat. The metaverse says it is far and far away from us, and it is close to us. Perhaps, one day in the future, the yuan universe technology will arrive, and you can drink with your friends in Beijing immersively, you can feel your friend's hand pressing heavily on your shoulder, and the collision of wine glasses when you toast is so good. So what's going on when cars fall in love with the metacosm? Is it to rub the heat and hit the soy sauce?

2. Car companies enter the game

After the meta-universe caught fire, concept stocks related to the meta-universe, such as Zhongqingbao, Baotong Technology, Wondershare Technology, and Jiachuang Video, rose rapidly, and many capitalists and shareholders made a lot of money.

Do car companies also want to learn from each other and come to the capital market to make a profit?

If it was a car twenty years ago, it obviously had nothing to do with the metacosm, and today, the car is an intelligent mobile space that integrates travel, entertainment and work.

Baidu CEO Robin Li once said (introducing Baidu auto robots): "These automotive robots can communicate with people, roads, and their own kind autonomously, and make corresponding actions according to the results of communication." Google, which has also been working in unmanned driving for many years, not only has waymo, a leading player in autonomous driving, but also has a strategy to integrate and develop technologies such as maps and artificial intelligence.

The car is also an important private space, after the rise of unmanned driving, even driving is not used, a long road, should not use the meta-universe to enjoy or continue to work?

Obviously, the car is an outpost of the metacosm.

PwC expects the meta-universe market to reach $1.5 trillion by 2030, while Bloomberg estimates that the meta-universe market size will reach $2.5 trillion by then. Such a large market, how can the car industry be left behind?

How do current car companies treat the meta-universe? There are three main attitudes.

The first category, defensive deployments. From channels such as Tianyancha, it can be clearly seen that BYD and Xiaopeng are registering a large number of meta-universe trademarks, but the official has said that there is no meta-universe development plan for the time being. Obviously, the trademark is registered first, don't give the heart to take advantage of it.

The second category is the deployment of the battalion step by step. Represented by Weilai and Changan Ford. NIO preemptively launched new applications such as digital cockpits, and firmly grasped the highlight of entertainment. If there are more breakthroughs in subsequent technologies, these hardware can also be transformed into more application scenario services and the concept of metaverse.

Changan Ford also played the sign of "meta-universe" and defined the EVOS car as "the ultimate key to unlocking the stunning meta-universe". But until now, I have not seen the next move, and I can't judge whether I am preparing to make a big fuss for the time being, or whether the thunder and rain are small.

The third category is strategically positioned deployment. This is represented by the Zhiji car. Every major technological change is a big reshuffle, Toyota Motor's market value has been sitting firmly in the world's largest car company for decades, but it was unexpectedly surpassed by Tesla's white-faced small student with the help of new energy changes, becoming the world's largest car company. Similarly, with the help of new energy outlets, BYD Automobile, which is less than twenty years old, also ranks first in the country in terms of market value.

Zhiji Automobile is a new energy brand jointly built by SAIC and Ali, but it has not yet been mass-produced, not to mention how the performance of the car is, the outlet has long passed, the market has long been divided by the new energy, at this time, only by relying on the new concept can it be possible to overtake in the corner, in order to have a place. It would be wise to use the concept of a metacosm.

The most mature place in the current metaverse is undoubtedly in this aspect of the game. At present, Zhiji Automobile first launched a game called "Rough Valley", which has a simple social network and economic system, where users can pioneer rough, accumulate points, upgrade equipment, and evolve vehicles.

Obviously, Zhiji Auto has incorporated the concept of metacosmity into strategic deployment, and is ready to rely on meta-universe experience to regain a share of the car market.

In the future, the meta-universe experience car will be a mobile VR device, a mobile entertainment space, and a mobile office space.
