The immersive opera "Daiyu Funeral Flowers" brought by the Shanghai Theater Academy was just selected as one of the "Top Ten Cases" of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's digital innovation demonstration in October this year. It uses virtual reality technology, through intelligent terminals and extended reality glasses and other equipment, to organically combine and superimpose virtual Yue Opera performances with real stage installations, and applies non-linear narrative creation methods to push performance clips such as "Reading the West Chamber" and "Visiting the Garden" in the stage scene of the Grand View Garden, so that the audience can enjoy the Yue Opera performances, experience the Yue Opera culture and innovate the mode of opera viewing in the process of wandering in the Grand View Garden.
At the exhibition, the world's first 3D cloud array camera also attracted many exhibitors to come to interact with the experience. It is equipped with 140 mobile phone high-definition cameras, and through one-click shooting, creating a real 3D digital avatar is as simple as taking a photo, realizing "heaven and earth" immersive check-in metaverse scenes.
In the release of the results of the conference, the International Metaverse (Hainan) Innovation Center initiated and issued a declaration to gather global wisdom, strengthen interdisdisciplinary, cross-field and cross-cultural exchanges and cooperation, and promote the scientific and technological innovation and industrial application of the Metaverse.
