Wang Kequan is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the China Yuelian Society, a member of the Chinese Poetry Society, a member of the National Public Security System Literary Association, a director and deputy secretary-general of the Shandong Calligraphers Association, a standing director of the Shandong Provincial Calligraphers Association, a vice chairman of the Jinan Calligraphers Association, a vice chairman of the Jinan Yanglian Society, a chairman of the Jinan Lixia District Calligraphers Association, a chairman of the Jinan Municipal Law System Fine Calligraphers Association, and an honorary chairman of the Lixia Public Security Literary Association. He has participated in many cultural exchanges of calligraphy and painting between China and South Korea, China and Japan internationally, as well as across the strait and between provinces and provinces with the provincial, municipal and district literary federations and book associations. He was rated as an advanced individual in the national calligraphers' activity of entering ten thousand homes by the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and was rated as a calligrapher with virtue and art by the Shandong Calligraphers Association, and the Jinan Municipal Law System Fine Arts Calligraphers Association, of which he is the chairman, was twice rated by the Chinese Calligraphers Association as the advanced collective of the national calligraphers entering the ten thousand homes activities.
