It is understood that on the 22nd, the review meeting of the children's calligraphy works collection activity was held in the conference room on the 7th floor of the news building of Hainan Daily, and the expert review team was composed of Wang Mingbo, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and vice chairman of the Hainan Calligraphers Association, Wang Kangmin, a member of the Hainan Calligraphers Association, and Wu Xiaobei, vice chairman of the Haikou Calligraphers Association.
The expert review team will conduct a preliminary review and review of the collected soft pen calligraphy works, and the works are divided into three groups, namely Primary School Group B (Grades 1-3), Primary School Group A (Grades 4-6) and Secondary School Group (Junior High School).
The expert review panel believes that the theme of this solicitation activity is novel, the contestants are enthusiastic, and the evaluation is objective and fair, which has achieved the expected goal of paying tribute to and inheriting Su Dongpo and improving children's artistic aesthetics and calligraphy creation ability.
A total of 126 entries were submitted in this solicitation activity, including 18 pieces in primary school group B (grades 1-3), 56 pieces in primary school group A (grades 4-6) and 52 pieces in middle school group (junior high and high school) The list of winners of the children's calligraphy work collection activity.
It is also understood that one of the activities of the 12th Chengmai Qiaotou Sweet Potato Cultural Festival - "Childish Pen Danqing • Painting Dongpo Poetry" children's calligraphy works collection activity has been welcomed by student calligraphy lovers since it was launched on the 9th. The contest is open to young calligraphy enthusiasts aged between 6 and 18 in Hainan Province. The calligraphy works are soft pen calligraphy (brush), the body of the book is not limited, the number of works per person does not exceed 3, only the literary works written by Su Shi in Chengmai, Hainan, such as "Crossing the Sea", "Xingqiong Danjian", "Crossing the Sea on the Night of June 20th" and "Chengmai Yitong Chaoge" two works. The theme of this solicitation activity is related to Dongpo culture, because Chengmai is the first stop of Su Dongpo landing in Hainan, and passes through Chengmai Qiaotou Xifeng Station.
The award-winning works will be exhibited at the 2024 Hainan Sweet Potato Industry Development Conference and the 12th Qiaotou Sweet Potato Cultural Festival of "Sweet Potato Fishing Leap Colorful Qiaotou". The event was hosted by the Hainan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Chengmai County People's Government, and undertaken by Hainan Nanhai Network Media Co., Ltd. and Hainan Rural Revitalization Network.
