The famous calligrapher Yang Ruiyun was a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a director of the Gansu Calligraphers Association, the vice chairman of the Gansu Women's Calligraphy Association, the vice chairman of the Lanzhou Calligraphy Association, and the former president of the Juwen Society. Her calligraphy works have been exhibited in various calligraphy exhibitions, such as the First Sino-Japanese Women's Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition, the Third National Young and Middle-aged Calligraphy Seal Carving Exhibition, the Third National Women's Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, the Singapore Contemporary Chinese Women's Calligraphy Exhibition, and the Xi'an International Women's Calligraphy Exhibition.
