Fox is finally coming back to the four.
According to the latest batch of product announcements from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new Fox 2022 model will use a 1.5T four-cylinder engine, the model is CAF479WQ6, which is actually the one used by the previous Wing Tiger and Mondeo, but the tail number of the model is different, and there may be some optimization. From the data point of view, the new four-cylinder engine can provide a maximum power of 130kW, and there is no gap between the performance and the previous 1.5T three-cylinder model.
In fact, The Fox has always been one of the benchmarks of sports cars in the Chinese market, and the most well-known is the handling, which is loved by young consumers. However, the three-cylinder engine used in the new generation of models is not recognized by consumers, resulting in a certain degree of decline in sales. Fortunately, Ford still attaches great importance to the Chinese market, and in order to pick up sales, it has re-installed a four-cylinder engine for the annual remodeled model.
In addition to the changes in power, from the author's personal point of view, the performance of this generation of Fox regardless of appearance, interior, and intelligent configuration is very bright, and the new remodeled model further enhances these aspects.

The tail has not changed too much, and it has not followed the new model of its big brother Mondeo equipped with three-stage taillights. However, it is worth mentioning that the new model will provide a choice of blackened wheels, which can further enhance the performance of the model.
At present, the cockpit design of the new Focus has not been exposed, and it is expected to increase the intelligent configuration and upgrade the size of the central control screen. In terms of size, compared with the sales model, the length of the new car increased by 25 mm, and the wheelbase maintained the same level, after all, it was a mid-term redesign, and we could not expect the manufacturer to redesign the body-in-white.
