First of all, the upgraded vehicle will add a charging technology called Plug & Charge, the owner does not need to log in to the relevant app or swipe card to pay when charging in the future, as long as the vehicle recognizes the charging gun insertion can be automatically billed. In addition, the new car will also add autohold automatic parking function. Finally, after this upgrade, the car will support reverse charging - both the use of on-board batteries to power external appliances, which is undoubtedly more friendly to camping, picnics and other use scenarios.
According to Volkswagen's CEO, the current OTA upgrade of the model is only for the ID.4 sold in the North American market. Presumably, it may enter the country at a later date.
