Lincoln will launch five new pure electric models in 2026, and the SUVs currently on sale will be pure electric

Recently, according to foreign media reports, a number of insiders said that Lincoln Motors plans to launch at least five new pure electric SUV models in 2026. Ford Motor Company said last year it would invest $30 billion in electrification and plans to electrify the entire Lincoln brand by 2030.

Lincoln will release its first all-electric model this year, but apart from a trailer last June, which was released with very little detail, the other information about the new car, including the official name of the model, has not been announced. It has been previously revealed that the brand's first all-electric model is scheduled to be produced in late 2024 or early 2025, and is about the same size as the Aviator, so the new car may be the all-electric version of the aviator that was previously announced to be postponed to 2024.

Lincoln is also planning to launch a slightly smaller pure electric SUV model, perhaps developed using an improved version of the same platform as Ford's Mach-E, which should also be similar in size, but relevant sources did not provide a specific name or production schedule for this model. Lincoln will also launch two pure electric SUVs to replace the current corsair (adventurer) and Nautilus (voyageur), and the new car will be in production in 2025-2026. Finally, Lincoln's largest SUV model, the Navigator, will also be purely electrified, and it will go into production in 2026 and share a platform with the Ford F-150 Lightning.

Later this year, we'll see Lincoln launch its first all-electric model, when we'll see the characteristics of the brand's purely electrified products. While details of the new car are still lacking, the image shown in the trailer seems to indicate that it will adopt the style and design language of the Zephyr Reflection concept car, or will be significantly different from the style of the current models on sale, and its pure electric power system and infotainment software will also use more advanced and cutting-edge technology.
