In the field of buses, in January, BYD overpowered the crowd in the fierce technical competition, won the trust and cooperation of partners with its comprehensive strength, and exclusively won 1,002 orders for pure electric buses in Colombia, creating the largest pure electric bus orders in overseas markets so far, and refreshing the sales record of the overseas pure electric bus industry in one fell swoop.
In May, BYD delivered the first pure electric bus to Piteo, a famous port city in northeast Sweden, which is only more than 100 kilometers away from the Arctic Circle, marking a new record for bydir electric buses to create a new record for the northernmost end of the operating line, and refreshing the northern extension of the global new energy vehicle footprint.
At the end of June and the beginning of July, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 70th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet, BYD Commercial Vehicle took the opportunity of "70 BYD buses delivered to Shigatse" to carry out the "BYD Bus on the Tibetan Plateau" activity to create the "First Brand of Pure Electric Buses on the Tibetan Plateau".
In July, BYD and The South African Golden Arrow Bus Services officially put into operation the BYD pure electric bus in Cape Town, which is the first time that all electric buses have been put into operation in Batches in South Africa and the entire southern Africa.
In September, 85 bydy pure electric bus K9s were successively invested in Jiuzhaigou as an internal tourist connection in the scenic spot, which not only improved the experience of tourists visiting and opened a new chapter in the comprehensive electrification of local vehicles, but also as a cultural carrier to promote the effective integration of green transportation and eco-tourism, and boost the green development of Jiuzhaigou.
In October, BYD's first batch of pure electric articulated vehicles in China was put into operation in the main line of Yichang City Rapid Transit, and the new B18 models brought green, safe, comfortable and efficient travel services.
In November, the two-week 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) opened in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. As the official designated connecting vehicle and the main venue exhibition vehicle of global leaders and the public, BYD's pure electric bus provided travel services for the delegates and demonstrated zero-emission green transportation solutions.
In terms of promoting the global transformation of "green logistics", in April, BYD and Budweiser (China) Group officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and Budweiser will take the lead in purchasing the first batch of BYD pure electric tractor Q3, and then successively put into operation in Foshan, Tangshan, Wuhan and other parks.

In December, BYD Mexico delivered 20 21-ton all-electric heavy-duty trucks to Grupo Modelo, a large local beer production and distribution company, creating the largest fleet of pure electric logistics trucks in Latin America.
In the same month, unimpeded urban and rural circulation, BYD pure electric logistics vehicle T5D as the first batch of new energy vehicles in Yucheng, Shandong Province, was officially put into use, providing hardware support for the operation of local express lines and helping Yucheng express logistics services to a new level.
In terms of intelligence, in February, BYD's pure electric truck T8 autonomous driving logistics vehicle came, supporting Huawei's MDC intelligent driving calculation platform and Xidi intelligent driving software to create a real "smart park logistics".
In addition, BYD and Japan's largest airline, All Nippon Airways (ANA), successfully completed a 10-day trial operation of self-driving buses at Tokyo Haneda Airport, which will be mainly used for ferry connections at the airport in the future, making Haneda Airport the first international airport in Japan to conduct trial operations of autonomous buses.
BYD also announced with Levo Mobility of the United States that it will integrate Nuve Holding's "vehicle-to-grid" (V2G) technology with BYD's electric vehicle technology, and plans to purchase up to 5,000 V2G-enabled BYD medium- and heavy-duty pure electric vehicles within five years.
In November, BYD's first batch of non-cockpit port tractors officially rolled off the production line at the Changsha base, marking an important step for BYD to take an important step towards intelligent truck driving in the field of pure electric special vehicles and accelerating the commercial landing of autonomous trucks.
