As one of the "big aircraft families" in the mainland, the large amphibious aircraft "Kunlong", the AG600-1003 engine was successfully tested for the first time.
The AG600 "Kunlong" is currently the world's largest amphibious aircraft under development. Adopting the cantilever upper monoplane, the front three-point retractable landing gear, the single hull amphibious aircraft layout form, four domestic turboprop 6 engines are selected, the external size is comparable to the Boeing 737, and the maximum take-off weight is 53.5 tons. It can carry up to 12 tons of water, and the area of a single water fire can reach more than 4,000 square meters. With a high-wave hull design, in addition to the low-altitude search on the water surface, it can also carry out rescue operations at the surface of the water, and the water emergency rescue can rescue 50 people in distress at a time.
