C919 large aircraft important components localization! Baocheng telescopic cable device successfully passed the appraisal test

According to the news of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, a few days ago, Aviation Industry Treasure became an important project of COMAC C919 research and development of telescopic cable device to complete 17 identification tests (6 on-site witness tests of bureau representatives), all test reports and flame retardant and mold environmental analysis reports approved by COMAC and the Shanghai Certification Center of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and 19 environmental tests passed the compliance verification.

This marks that Baocheng has the conditions for airworthiness review and mass production delivery, and solves the problems of localization of the C919 wing telescopic cable device.

IT Home learned that the development of large aircraft is an extremely complex project, taking test flights as an example, as of now, 1694 test sites and 34 approved test flight subjects have been completed, as well as a large number of test flights such as natural icing that need to be completed.

The C919 large passenger aircraft, which is produced in-house by Continental, has a seat count of 158-168 seats and a range of 4075-5555 kilometers. On January 23, the special task of the high-cold test flight of the domestic C919 large passenger aircraft was successfully completed in Hulunbuir City.

Wu Yongliang, deputy general manager and chief accountant of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, said that the domestic C919 project is still in the stage of airworthiness certification and is expected to be delivered in 2022.
