But fortunately, he met an old man who instructed him to get out of the mizu and gave him the three words "slow speech". With these three words, Wang Ji actually survived one thrill after another, gained a good reputation in the official field, and was appointed by the Han Xuan Emperor Liu Qian as a counselor and became an important minister of the imperial court.
Speaking reflects the wisdom of a person. Young people, in particular, often suffer losses in speech due to their lack of experience in life. In the Analects, Confucius said: "There are three kinds of sorrows in serving a gentleman: to be impatient when you say what you don't say, to be hidden when you don't say it, and to be blind when you don't see color." ”
"When it is not your turn to speak, you rush to say, which is the mistake of "impetuousness". One day, Confucius had a small conversation with several disciples who were sitting there, asking them to talk about their ambitions. Zi Lu was anxious, and Confucius's voice did not fall, so he spoke a large set of words. "Heart yi shan" are the three words given to Wang Ji by the old man when he passed through Changyi again in 67 BC. For example, the long history Zhao Luo, because of his disagreement with Wang Ji's political views, was maliciously impeached by Wang Ji, and finally was deposed and returned to his hometown, and soon died of depression. Under the advice of the old man, Wang Ji changed his ways bitterly, no longer harming people as a whole, but treating everyone objectively and fairly, which was welcomed by more and more people, and his life was smooth and peaceful in the sinister official field.
And the old man who gave Wang Ji the secret of the six characters is said to be Gongsun Hong, the famous prime minister of Emperor Wu of Han.
Good hearts and good deeds with others will be blessed. Mencius says, "A gentleman has a heart of benevolence and a heart of courtesy." The benevolent love others, and the courteous respect others. He who loves others, he who loves others, he who respects others, he who respects others, respects others, he who respects others, he "People with good hearts, helpful, saving people in danger. People around him are willing to associate with him and are more willing to help him.
The Taoist classic Tao Te Ching says that the Tao Te Ching has no relatives and is always with good people.
The heart should be kind, can produce people's yang, our Chinese culture has a famous saying: "Doing good is the most happy." The four words, as we all know, usually read these four words, people don't care much, because they see it as a traditional dogma, and they take it as a word of encouragement.
In fact, no, people's psychology is very strange, we do any bad thing, the psychology will be uneasy, unhappy, the heart is not right, this uneasiness is not for others, but for themselves, slowly the face will become bad, the spirit will be out of shape.
If you really and unconditionally do good, help others, benefit others, and do a good deed, your state of mind will naturally be very happy. That happiness is not something that can be said in theory.
Speak slowly and be kind. Why does this house rule have such a miraculous power of only six words? When you are young, you should "speak slowly", so that you can think carefully and make fewer mistakes, so as to protect yourself and seek development. When people reach their prime, their minds are mature and their strength is strong, then they should be "kind in heart". In this way, there will be fewer enemies, and yangyang will have the demeanor of an elder and be respected.
