The First Noble Clan of China, the Langya Wang Clan

Wild grass flowers by the Suzaku Bridge, the sunset at the mouth of Wuyi Lane.

In the old days, Wang Xie Tang Qianyan flew into the homes of ordinary people.

Liu Yuxi's nostalgic poem "Wuyi Lane" is probably familiar to people since childhood. It is said that Bai Juyi once "turned around and groaned bitterly for this poem, and admired it for a long time" for a long time. The poem is wonderful in that it focuses on the decline of "today's" Wuyi Lane, while at the same time subtly hinting at the prosperity of the former Wuyi Lane, and through this strong contrast, expresses a deep lament of nostalgia for the past and the present. It can be said that this Wuyi Lane is a witness to the prosperity and decline of the Six Dynasties Hao clan, especially the Wang Xie and Xie families, and can even be seen as a historical witness of the two Jin And Southern Dynasties Shi Hai Hook Shen.

The First Noble Clan of China, the Langya Wang Clan

The two Jin Dynasties and the Southern Dynasties were one of the most colorful and colorful times in Chinese history. The chaos of politics and the flourishing of spiritual art were both the result of the combined efforts of the various actions of the people who lived in that era, and at the same time shaped and influenced many generations at that time and in later generations. Among the people of the Southern Wei and Jin Dynasties, many of the sons of the nobles of the family were undoubtedly the protagonists of that era, and their political and spiritual activities always represented the mainstream of that period. Among these noble families, the Langya Wang clan is undoubtedly the most important and dramatic family.

The Two Jin Dynasties and the Southern and Northern Dynasties were the most prosperous era of the Chinese monastic clan system, when the Chinese clans were like forests, but almost no family clan could match the Langya Wang clan. Even the Xie family, which once had a glorious history of "Wang Xie" and was called , was far less prosperous than the Wang family. Yes, in Chinese history, some families may have a longer lineage than the Wang family, but not as high as the Wang family's power; some families may have been more powerful than the Wang family, but not as long as the Wang family. For more than three hundred years, the Wang family has been able to produce many people, and the eunuchs have become prominent, and they have either led the fashion of a generation or held the bull's ear of a dynasty, from the Han and Wei dynasties to the two Jin Dynasties, which has always been so prosperous and so glorious.

The Lang Evil Wang Clan is the county of Lang Evil Linyi. The seats of government of Lang Evil Kingdom and Lang Evil County are located in Linyi, covering Linyi, Rizhao, Zhucheng and the southern part of Huangdao District of Qingdao City. Although the clan of the King of Langya is huge, the various branches rise and fall differently, sometimes this branch is noble, sometimes the other branch is Rongda, thirty years of Hedong and thirty years of Hexi, but always do not leave this river, everyone drinks a river water, and talks about family feelings. This kind of intricate and long-standing family event is easily reminiscent of Cao Xueqin's "Dream of the Red Chamber". And the Wang family because of the prosperity of the son, so that the name of the King, the star of the history, and even a lot of the same name, Wang Rong, Wang Su, Wang Yan and so on often appear cousins, grandchildren with the same name.

In ancient China, the ancestors of the Western Han Dynasty King Ji taizu had the name of "the beauty of successive generations", which created a precedent for the prominent nobles of the Lang evil king clan. Wang Ji was a very honest official, and when he lived in Chang'an, the branches and leaves of the neighboring jujube tree stretched into his courtyard, and Wang Ji's wife randomly picked a few dates for him to eat. Afterwards, Wang Ji learned that the dates were stolen from a neighbor's house and drove his wife away. After the neighbor heard about it, he insisted on cutting down the jujube tree, and after repeated persuasion, Wang Jicai recruited his wife back. Therefore, at that time, there was a good story that "the east family has a tree, Wang Yang's wife goes, the owner's jujube is finished, and the woman goes back". The Lang Evil Wang clan has been a large clan for generations since the two Han Dynasties. Through the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the Evil King Clan gradually became the number one door valve clan at that time.

Wang Dao (276 – September 7, 339), courtesy name Maohong, was born in the Wei and Jin dynasties of the Famous Gate Lang Yue Wang, and was the grandson of Wang Lan, the Grand Master of Guanglu in the Western Jin Dynasty; When Wang Dao was young, he had a flowing style, saw the amount of instruments, and cleared the more he was. When he was fourteen years old, Zhang Gong, a senior priest of Chen Liugao, was very surprised to see him, and said to his brother Wang Dun: "This child's appearance and temperament are the material of the general. Sima Rui (i.e., Emperor Yuan of Jin) the King of Langyue was always friendly with Wang Dao. Wang Dao knew that the world had begun to be turbulent, so he wholeheartedly assisted Sima Rui and secretly made a wish to revive the dynasty. Sima Rui also trusted him very much, and the two were like friends. When Sima Rui was still in Luoyang, Wang Dao always persuaded him to return to the kingdom as soon as possible.

In the second year of Yongxing (305), Sima Rui left the town of Xia Pi, and soon moved to the general of Andong, asking Wang Dao to serve as the general of Andong, Sima Rui, and the military planning was subject to his arrangement.

In the first year of Yongjia (307), Sima Rui followed Wang Dao's advice and left the town of Jianye (later rebuilt kang, now Nanjing, Jiangsu). Wang Daoxiang crossed the south with him. After the Western Jin Dynasty destroyed Wu, the southern Shi clan was ostracized, and Shijin was very difficult, of course, not satisfied. Wang Dao wanted to establish the Eastern Jin Dynasty in the territory of the former Eastern Wu, with the Northern Shi clan as the backbone, and contacting the Southern Shi Clan became an extremely important matter. Wang Dao persuaded Sima Rui: "Gu Rong and He Xun are the most famous people in this place, and they should befriended to win people's hearts, and when the two of them come, there will be no one who will not come." Sima Rui sent Wang Dao to visit He Xun and Gu Rong personally, and both of them were summoned. Thus the people of Wudi looked at the wind and the people returned to their hearts. From then on, they relied on each other, and the title of monarch was established.

In the fifth year of Yongjia (311), the Han generals Liu Yao and Wang Mi attacked Luoyang, captured Emperor Huai of Jin, and killed more than 30,000 soldiers and civilians under the prince, and the north fell into unprecedented war. Six-tenths or seven of the central plains took refuge in Jiangnan, and Wang advised Sima Rui to take the opportunity to take over the wise men and gentlemen and expand his power in order to achieve great things.

In the last year of Yongjia (307-313), Wang Dao moved to danyang taishou and was a general of the auxiliary state. Wang Daoshang advised Sima Rui not to easily give his subordinates such as drum covers and other ceremonial things, so that there was a difference between dignity and inferiority. Sima Rui ordered wang Dao to be rewarded, and he was honored as the general of Ningyuan, and soon added general Zhenwei.

In the first year of Daxing (318), Sima Rui took the throne as emperor and established the Eastern Jin Dynasty. When sima Rui was congratulated by the hundred officials, Sima Rui repeatedly asked Wang Dao to sit on the royal bed to be congratulated, and Wang Dao repeatedly refused to be afraid to be, saying: "If the sun is the same as everything underground, then where should the common people bathe in glory?" Sima Rui gave up and appointed Wang Dao as the Grand General of the Hussars and the Third Division of Yi Tong.
