Recently, the Tiger Year Chinese New Year Zodiac New Year Painting "Tiger Greeting Wealth" printed by Xiao Shigui, a provincial inheritor of the Beachhead Woodblock Print of Fumeixiang Workshop, and Xiao Yang, the inheritor of "Post-95", was launched.

As one of the series of "Twelve Zodiac Signs and Five Sons Dengke" of The Beachhead Innovative New Year Paintings, "Tiger Greeting The Rich" strictly inherits the styling characteristics of the Beachhead New Year Paintings and gives them the aesthetic taste of the new era. "Tiger Greeting Riches" consists of a big tiger dressed in a handsome costume and wearing a small flower feather and five lively and cute little tigers. In the painting, the big tiger holds the bottle in one hand, and the bottle is inserted with three halberds, and the tiger is mighty. The five little tigers are dynamic, tiger heads, tiger brains, cute and cute. The overall composition is full and vivid, the colors are gorgeous, and the shape is pleasing.

I became acquainted with the Tantou Nian Painting, which began with the Tantou Nian Painting of the Year of the Sheep Zodiac work "Three Sheep Kaitai", which I completed under the guidance of my mentor Professor Wen Mujiang. After that, I joined the ranks of creators of the Beachhead New Year Painting. Professor Wen Mujiang is an authentic Longhui person who has conducted in-depth research on Tantou New Year paintings. I am very fond of traditional art, and I am also very fond of folk New Year paintings. Under the careful guidance of my mentor, I went through several years from familiarity with the Tantou New Year paintings to careful understanding, to integration, until they were recognized by the Longhui County Intangible Cultural Heritage Center and relevant experts. I am blessed and proud to have done this cause with deep affection, and I see it as a mission and responsibility.

Tantou New Year Painting has a special "earthy" flavor, which makes it unique among Chinese New Year paintings. The character modeling of the Beachhead New Year painting has a special development process. It is located in a corner of the beach, after the processing and production of many folk artists, and combined with local characteristics and environment, it has grown a distinctive style, which can be described as a "rustic atmosphere". Its shape is "earthy" and has the atmosphere of Meishan culture. The mysterious and witch culture images of the paper horse shape inject a "witch" atmosphere into the Beachhead New Year Painting, which is more local. Its color "earth", pigments through the local independent production, mainly yellow, orange, blue, purple, green five colors, the color collocation is bright, after the 1980s is the formation of a hot Xiangchu characteristics, strong impact. Its engraving and printing "soil", engraved by local artists to complete, the shape is injected with the local unique sense of clumsiness, unique flavor; The printing uses multi-plate overprinting, the process is complex, all manual workshops are completed, and the paper is also unique to the local area, called "powder paper". Printed on this kind of paper, the color is more bright and thick, coupled with the "open face" process, the characters even have a certain three-dimensional sense. This is a feature that is very different from the New Year paintings of other production areas.

However, just to understand these, it is not enough to innovate and develop the New Year paintings in Tantou. In my practical creation, I repeatedly compare it with other New Year paintings from other production areas, paying special attention to its differences, especially the full shape. This kind of fullness is inseparable from the use of curves on the shape and the shape of the lump. I am well aware that the Beachhead New Year Painting is the crystallization of the collective creation of folk artists, and its full shape has formed several different styles, such as the style of "Door God Five Sons Dengke" and the "One Tuan Heqi" style. The design of the "Zodiac Signs And Five Sons Dengke" was developed on the style of "Door God Five Sons Dengke", inheriting the original full shape, and developing a set of style characteristics of this style, and then strengthening the style characteristics of the Tantou New Year Painting. The "A Ball of Harmony" New Year painting style is also the source of our next creation of "Twelve Auspicious New Year Paintings", and we will excavate on the basis of it and develop a set of unique styles. The inheritance of beachhead New Year paintings is inseparable from these unique styles that have been formed, and innovative development also lies in the excavation and innovation of styles. Compared with other New Year paintings that already have a distinct variety of series, the variety characteristics of beachhead New Year paintings have not formed a certain characteristic scale. Therefore, in the development of the new era, it is of great significance to develop new varieties of beachhead New Year paintings and form the characteristics of variety scale. This is also a problem that I pay special attention to in my continuous exploration of the innovative development of Tantou New Year paintings, and it also gives me more responsibilities and missions.

Of course, the innovative work of Tantou New Year Painting is not only these, it is related to the quality of the creators, related research, solid art skills and understanding of modeling, which is inconvenient to carry out one by one.
