Invincible? The benevolent are invincible!

- The Analects are newly obtained as seventy-nine

Life is full of unknowns, and no one knows what will happen tomorrow. There is sunshine, and there will be haze. There will be smooth roads, and there will also be gullies. In the face of different situations, everyone shows different mental states, their endings are different, and even worlds are different, what is the reason?

Confucius said, "Those who are not benevolent cannot stay with each other for a long time, nor can they enjoy their long lives", that is to say, people who do not have the cultivation of benevolent character not only lack the courage to persist when they are in difficult situations, but also cannot last long even under comfortable conditions. About, "Sayings" entangled also. The original meaning is restraint and limitation, which can be understood here as difficulties, dilemmas, and adversities. Music, the original meaning of the instrument, extended to happiness, happiness, here can be understood as ease, good times.

Confucius also later said that "gentlemen are poor, and villains are poor and indiscriminate", saying that even if a gentleman is in the adversity of the end of the road, he can still stick to his own principle of being a man, while the villain will do whatever it takes to get rid of adversity. People are prone to depression and even depravity when they are in adversity, which is easy to understand. Why can't the comfortable environment last long? It is also because they cannot grasp themselves very well, the light one consumes the will, the heavy person is unable to extricate himself in the face of temptation, and finally like Mencius said, "die in comfort", and all this happens because of the lack of Ren, the fixed star and ballast stone of ren.

Ren, in Confucius's philosophy of life, is the most important concept, and there is no one. In Confucius's view, ren is a master key, and in such an era of bad etiquette and incorruptibility, all problems can be solved. With the core quality of benevolence, we can be like Mencius summed up, "Rich and noble cannot be adulterous, poor and lowly cannot be moved, and mighty cannot be bent." Eventually, "the benevolent are invincible."

Was Confucius naïve?!
