The lawsuit between Capcom and artist Judy A. Juracek, who previously claimed that Capcom used images she made in games like Resident Evil 4.
The law firm in charge of the case wrote in a statement recently: "Capcom and Judy Juracek have amicably resolved their dispute over the alleged use of Photos of Ms. Juracek in Capcom's game. The case was filed with the Connecticut District Attorney's Office on February 7, 2022. ”
No more information has been released about the resolution between Capcom and Juracek.
The case was originally litigated in June 2021. At the time, Juracek claimed that Capcom had used at least 80 images from her book Surface without permission, more than 200 times.
Juracek said capcom's illegal use of the image included resident evil 4's iconic broken glass logo.
