【Seeking Fang and Seeking Victory】Winter Tour Xian Mother Garden | Travels Wang Yuping

A weekend in winter, because of the epidemic, can not travel far. I heard a friend say that there is a "Chinese Virtuous Mother's Garden" not far away, and I summed it up with them: go there and look!

Zhonghua Xianmu Garden is located in the center of Chaisang District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. The main garden gate is located on the south side of Yuanming Avenue. The park is east to Lushan North Road, south to Shing Mun Shan Copper Mine Dormitory and Yuanming Mountain Villa Hotel, west to Chaisang District Old Civil Affairs Bureau Dormitory, north to Yuanming Avenue, with a total area of about 1100 acres.

Zhonghua Xianmu Garden is a cultural theme park with patriotism, honest government education and traditional culture as the main line, mother-in-law and taomu culture as the core, and ecological leisure, tourism and sightseeing with the xianmu culture as the connotation in Jiujiang people to highlight the local cultural characteristics and fully excavate the historical and cultural resources. The architecture here is simple and atmospheric, the house structure is unique, and the museum building is rich in materials and culture. In the middle of the compound, a 30-meter-high marble sculpture of "Chinese Virtuous Mother" is eye-catching, a pair of mothers and sons with eyes on each other, the mother's face is charitable, the son holds a book in his hand to listen to the mother's teachings, expressing the greatness of the mother's love culture, the sculpture is extremely infectious, impactful, and admirable! The Four Great Virtuous Mothers Pavilion is the place where the classic stories of the four virtuous mothers-in-law, Tao Mu, Ou Mu and Meng Mu are interpreted.

We first came to the mother-in-law's house. Got to know Yue Fei's mother, Yao Shi. When the country was in danger, she encouraged Her son to stab Yue Fei and encourage him to be loyal to the country. When Yue Fei was fifteen or sixteen years old, the Jin people in the north invaded the south, the Song Dynasty rulers were corrupt and incompetent, and they were gradually defeated, and the country was at a critical juncture of life and death. Yue Fei threw his army against the Liao. Soon after the death of his father, he retired from the army and returned to his hometown to keep filial piety. In 1126, the Jin army invaded the Central Plains in a big way, and Yue Fei once again surrendered.

Before leaving, Mrs. Yao called Yue Fei to her and asked:

"Now that the country is in trouble, what are your plans?"

Yue Fei said, "Go to the front line to kill the enemy and be loyal to the country!" The tone was very firm.

Mrs. Yao listened to her son's answer and was very satisfied, "Jing Loyal to the Country" is exactly her hope for her son. She decided to stab these four words in her son's back and make him remember them forever.

Yue Fei unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his thin back, and asked his mother to needle it. Mrs. Yao asked, "Child, the needle prick is very painful, are you afraid?"

Yue Fei said, "Mother, what is a little steel needle?" If you are afraid of needles, how to go to the front line to fight! ”

Mrs. Yao first wrote on Yue Fei's back, and then pierced it with an embroidery needle. After the stabbing, the mother-in-law applied vinegar ink again. Since then, the four words of "jing loyal to the country" have never faded and remained on Yue Fei's back. His mother's encouragement inspired Yue Fei. After Yue Fei joined the army, he was soon promoted to Bingyilang because of his bravery in battle. At this time, the Song capital Kaifeng was besieged by the Jin army, Yue Fei went to the rescue with the deputy marshal Zong Ze, defeated the Jin army many times, and was appreciated by Zong Ze, praising him as "wise and courageous, Gu Liang will not be able to pass", and later became a famous anti-Jin hero and was admired by the people of all generations. Yue's Famous Garden displays relevant written materials and physical objects, reproducing the historical situation of that year.

Immediately after, we came to the Tao Mu Hall. Tao Muguan told people the story of the virtuous virtue of Tao Kan's mother, Tao Kan, the founding father of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. She lost her husband at an early age, made a living from weaving, and carefully educated her son. Stories such as sealing the altar and retiring the carp and cutting off the hair of Yanbin have been passed down to the world, and are known as one of the four great virtuous mothers of Chinese tradition. The "sealing the altar and retiring the carp" says: When Tao Kan was young, he was a petty official in charge of fishery production in Xunyang. When a young child is away from home, he remembers his mother's training, conscientiousness, loyalty to his duties, kindness and kindness, and is quite popular. Once, when his subordinates saw that his life was miserable, they brought him a pot of bad fish from the fish pickling shop for him to eat. The filial piety Tao Kannian mother ping vegetarian good food bad fish, so he took advantage of his colleague's business trip to Poyang, and by the way, he took this altar of bad fish and attached a letter of warning. When Mother Tao received the letter, she was very happy with Her filial piety. So he casually asked the person who delivered the letter, "How much will this bad fish cost in Xunyang?" The guest was puzzled and boasted, "Hey, this jar of bad fish needs to be bought with money?" Go to the workshop below and get it, my aunt loves to eat, next time I will bring you a few more altars. When Tao Mu listened, her mood changed sharply, she was happy and worried, resealed the mouth of the bad fish altar, asked the guests to bring the fish back to Tao Kan, and attached a letter from The Blame. The words of this book are harsh, and the book yun says: "Ru is an official, and it is not unhelpful to see the salary of officials, but to increase my worries." Tao Kan received the bad fish and the letter of rebuke returned by his mother, and he felt extremely guilty, deeply felt that he had failed his mother's training, and vowed not to do anything that worried his mother again. From then on, Tao Kan was fair and honest, and the public and private were clearly distinguished, until he returned to his hometown in his old age, he also meticulously locked the military and the warehouse, and handed over to the public bit by bit. Tao Kan's life's achievements were soaked in Tao Muchen's words and deeds.

"Cut off Yanbin" says: On a day when the wind and snow were full of snow, Xiaolian Fan Kui of Poyang stayed at Tao Kan's house, but the Tao family was so destitute that they could not entertain guests. Mother Tao withdrew the straw mat for sleeping, personally crushed it, and fed it to Fan Kui's horses; she also secretly cut her hair and sold it to the villagers, buying dishes and entertaining guests. After Fan Kui knew about this, he sighed and said, "If you are not such a mother, you cannot give birth to such an excellent son!" ”

We explored the third pavilion, the Oumu Pavilion. Ouyang Xiu's mother, Zheng Shi, left us with the beautiful talk of "painting the land with hagi". It turned out that Ouyang Xiu's father died when he was 4 years old, and he grew up with his mother, who had always been widowed. Ouyang Xiu's father was a magistrate and was upright and hospitable. When he was alive, his family was full of people and the economy was prosperous. After his death, his family gradually became poor, and later, he reached the point of "no room and no land". Orphans and widows living in such a situation, the difficulties are imaginable. It was in this difficult situation that his mother left behind the story of Ogi painting the land. When Ouyang Xiu was five or six years old, his mother taught him to read and write and taught him the principles of being a human being. There was no money to buy paper and pencil, so he used reed poles instead, spread the sand on the ground as paper, and taught Ouyang Xiu to write one by one. - This is the reason for the painting of the earth.

As he grew older, Ouyang Xiu gradually understood things. He was very considerate of his mother, and while reading, he tried his best to share the housework. He wondered why his mother had so much determination and strength to raise herself. Once, Ouyang Xiu asked about it. My mother said affectionately, "After your father's death, I was able to remain widowed and orphaned because I understood your father's noble character." I love him and I love you, and I am determined to raise you to be like your father. For your sake, I can eat even the greatest suffering. After that, she told Ouyang Xiu about her own life and Ouyang Xiu's father's personality. "When I married into the Ouyang family, your grandmother had already died. However, from your father's remembrance of your grandmother, I know that he is a good person who respects his elders. Your father respected his elders at home, and when he was an official outside, he was serious about official affairs and never sloppy. He works during the day and reads official documents and case materials at night, often staying up until midnight. For the materials of the death penalty, it is always repeatedly investigated and verified. He often said that human life is at stake and sloppiness is not allowed. Later, due to overwork and overwork, he knew that he could not do it, so he said to me: 'I can't watch my children grow up, I hope you will tell my children my words in the future: people should not be greedy for money and profit, do not pursue too much in life, be filial to the elders, and have a kind heart.' These are your father's last words, and I hope you will encourage yourself. When Ouyang Xiu heard this, he sobbed and said to his mother, "I will definitely inherit my father's legacy and be a person of high moral character!" ”

Later, Ouyang Xiu became an official and served as a counselor and governor. In the third year of the Qing Calendar, he was demoted for actively supporting Fan Zhongyan and maintaining the new law. Ouyang Xiu's mother said: "Being degraded for justice cannot be said to be disgraceful. Our family is accustomed to a poor life, as long as you have no burden in your mind and your spirit is not weak, I will be happy..."

The last XianmuGuan we visited was the Mengmuguan. Meng Mu Tong clan, Zou guo during the Warring States period. She was diligent and thrifty, with hard work, adhering to the festival, raising her son, from the beginning of prudence, inspiration, Dunpin, Mian learning to about the ceremony, into gold, for decades as a day, the slightest buckle, without relaxation, not only achieved Mencius, but also left a complete set of godson programs for the mother of future generations, she herself has become a model mother who has been famous for thousands of years, and is universally respected in Chinese history. Well-known stories include Meng Mu Sanqian and the broken machine godson.

What Meng Mu Sanqian said was that when Mengzi was young, his father died early, and his mother did not remarry on the day. In the beginning, mother and son lived next to the cemetery. Mencius and the children in the neighborhood learned to kneel and cry as adults and play funeral games. Mencius's mother saw this and frowned, "No! I can't let my kids stay here anymore! So she took Mencius to live near the slaughter of pigs and sheep in the market. At the market, Mencius and the neighbor's children learned about merchants doing business and slaughtering pigs and sheep. Mencius's mother knew this, and frowned: "This place is not suitable for my children to live!" So they moved again. This time, they moved near the academy. At this time of the first day of the summer calendar every month, officials went to the Temple of Literature, bowed down in salute, and treated each other politely, and Mencius learned to remember them one by one. Mencius's mother nodded her head contentedly and said, "This is where my son should live!" ”

"Broken Machine Godson" tells the story of Mengmu's encouragement to Mencius not to give up halfway: when Mencius was a teenager, he did not work hard at first, and sometimes escaped to play. Once Mencius skipped school from his teacher Zi Si to return home, Meng Mu was weaving cloth, and saw Mencius skipping school, very angry, picked up a pair of scissors, "hissed", and suddenly cut the cloth that had just been woven, and the twine fell to the ground. Mencius saw that his mother had cut the cloth that he had worked so hard to weave, and he was afraid and did not understand the reason, so he knelt on the ground and consulted his mother. Meng Mu taught her son: "Learning is like weaving cloth, you don't concentrate on reading, it's like a cut linen, the cloth can no longer be picked up." If you study from time to time, if you often learn new things from the past, you will never learn the skills. Mencius listened to his mother's teachings, deeply ashamed, and from then on he concentrated on reading, working hard, practicing the teachings of the saints, and eventually became a great thinker in the Warring States period, and was respected by posterity as "Yasheng". This story tells people that Meng Mu is worthy of being a model of enlightenment and personal education.

Although I did not go further to the bustling and lively places farther away, and did not taste all kinds of classic foods, I thought that I was one of the most fruitful tours.
