Overcrowding hazards

1. It is easy to have accidents and aggravate the consequences of accidents

Overcrowding is easy to lead to a decrease in vehicle dynamic performance, driving speed is reduced, so that the speed difference between vehicles on the road becomes larger, thereby increasing the probability of rear-end collisions, scraping and other accidents, the greater the speed difference, the greater the probability of accidents; the seat belts, seats, bodies, etc. on the car can provide safety protection for passengers in turn, but for overcrowded passengers, they do not have the protection of seat belts, and the latter two levels of protection are basically ineffective, which will expose them to the risk of casualties, more vulnerable to injury, once an accident occurs, the consequences are often more serious.

2. The steering stability decreases, increasing the risk of skidding and rollover

In order to ensure the stability of the driving direction, the car will generally move the center of gravity of the vehicle forward when designing, but when the vehicle is overcrowded, the rear weight will become larger and the center of gravity will shift backward, thus affecting the stability of the vehicle; and when the vehicle is driving faster, it is easy to slip or overturn when turning.

3. The braking performance of the vehicle is reduced and the braking distance is extended

On the one hand, vehicle overcrowding changes the reasonable distribution of braking force between the axles, which can easily lead to accidents such as longer braking distance, steering failure during braking, and vehicle tail flicking. On the other hand, overcrowded vehicles need more friction and more energy when braking, which will make the surface temperature of the brake rise faster, which in turn will make the braking efficiency of the vehicle decline rapidly, resulting in an increase in the braking distance of the vehicle and increasing the probability of accidents.

4. The tire load is large and prone to puncture

If the vehicle is overloaded for a long time, the tire pressure will become larger, and it is easy to deform or burst the tire, followed by unimaginable traffic accidents.
