The recalled vehicles include the Model S/X produced between 2021 and 2022, the Model 3 produced between 2017 and 2022, and the Model Y model produced between 2020 and 2022.
This is also the largest recall in Tesla's history, it is not known how Tesla will recall it, if the OTA can not solve the fault, it means that the owner may have to drive to Tesla after-sales.
For car owners and after-sales center employees, such a large-scale recall, both sides have a lot of pressure.
In addition, this is not the only recall of Tesla, on the same day, NHTSA released a recall report, a "rolling stop" function, Tesla will recall a total of nearly 54,000 vehicles.
The "rolling stop" feature allows cars to drive through "all-way stop" intersections where signs show stops in all four directions, at a maximum speed of 5.6 miles (9 kilometers) per hour, without detecting that there are no vehicles, pedestrians, or bicycles nearby.
NHTSA believes that Tesla's above-mentioned software feature violates the traffic laws of most states in the United States, and once it is really allowed to drive like that, the traffic police will issue a ticket to the driver, which increases the risk of crashing.
For these two recalls, Tesla has not yet issued a corresponding situation statement, and will pay attention to it in the future.
