Unveiled at the Munich Motor Show last year, the car, with the exception of the AMG Project One, is Mercedes' most expensive production car ever built. The European price of the AMG Special Edition starts at €218,674. The difference between the Special Edition and the Standard Edition is that the Green Hell Magno paint contrasts with the black finished 21-inch AMG forged wheels. The special edition also offers rubellite tourmaline with a high-gloss chrome exterior and 21-inch AMG forged wheels with high-gloss silver finishes. The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine connected to an electric motor on the rear axle. Combined, the V8 and electric motor deliver 831 horsepower and over 1,023 pound-feet (1,400 Nm) of torque. Mercedes says its latest super sedan can reach 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and can accelerate to a top speed of 316 km/h.
