In addition, before and after the acquisition of "Leftover Mountain Map", the intensity of collective meetings held by all members of the Cultural Management Committee was very high, which was inconsistent with the daily rhythm. On July 12, Sha Menghai drafted a report entitled "In order to strive for the acquisition of three Song and Yuan calligraphy paintings, it is proposed to ask the people to allocate 30,000 yuan to enrich the exhibition of the Zhejiang Museum".
Sha Menghai and Wu Hufan have a deep friendship and a strong sense of responsibility, in order to move Wu Hufan, he invited Qian Jingtang, Xie Zhiliu and other scholars and celebrities. Zhu Jiaji and Chen Xunci, the cultural management councillors, also actively rushed to this matter.
In early November 1956, Sha Menghai went to Shandong, Beijing, Liaoning and other museums to investigate, passing through Shanghai, and entrusted the Shanghai Cultural Management Association to assist in the acquisition of Song and Yuan calligraphy and paintings. On the way back to Shanghai in early December, Mr. Qian Jingtang was contacted by the Shanghai Cultural Management Commission to find Huang Gongwang's "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" from Wu Hufan. Sha Menghai immediately drafted a draft telegram, which was signed and sent to Mr. Qian Jingtang on December 19 by Li Chengquan, deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Management Commission.
On December 20, the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Affairs Commission urgently drafted a report to Huang Yuan, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee and director of the Cultural Bureau, requesting that the acquisition funds be allocated for application.
