People's Daily Beijing, January 28 (Reporter Lu Jing) Recently, the "Tiandiren - Exhibition of Fine Arts and Calligraphy Works on the Theme of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics of the National Academy of Painting of China" was held at the Art Museum of the National Academy of Painting of China. The exhibition exhibits 201 works, covering various art disciplines such as Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, calligraphy, seal engraving, etc., and carries out thematic creation around the Olympic Games. The artist uses a paintbrush to shape the image of Chinese culture, display vivid and three-dimensional sports stories, and use his works to help the Beijing Winter Olympics.

The exhibition is mainly based on the collection of works, in addition to the artists of the National Academy of Painting of China, there are also well-known artists from all over the country who participate widely. According to Dong Lei, director of the Innovation and Research Planning Department of the National Academy of Painting of China, the biggest feature of the exhibition is the latest creation around the theme of the Winter Olympics, and it is mainly based on large-scale creation. There are not only works that show the competitive scenes of athletes, but also a large number of Winter Olympics-themed works of people's sports life, expressing good wishes for the ice and snow Olympic Games.

It is reported that Yu Zaiqing, vice president of the International Olympic Committee and vice chairman of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition and delivered a speech. The exhibition is sponsored by the National Academy of Painting of China, and organized by the Creative Research and Planning Office of the National Academy of Painting of China, the Institute of Landscape Painting, the Institute of Figure Painting, the Institute of Flower and Bird Painting, the Institute of Calligraphy and Seal Engraving, the Institute of Oil Painting, the Institute of Printmaking, the Institute of Sculpture, the Art Museum of the National Academy of Painting of China, and the China Art Newspaper.

The exhibition will be on view until February 10.
