On January 20th, the memorial and burial ceremony of "Father of Chinese Liver Surgery", Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, former Vice President of the Second Military Medical University, and President of the Third Affiliated Hospital of the Naval Military Medical University, and His wife Professor Wu Peiyu was held in Qingpu Fushou Garden, Shanghai. The couple, who have been together for 60 years, have dedicated their lives to the medical cause of the motherland, and Academician Wu Mengchao has treated more than 16,000 patients in his lifetime. At the memorial service, holograms were used to present Wu Lao's voice and smile, reproduce Wu Lao's voice, and conduct a "time and space dialogue" with the people around him at the scene. At the burial site, the commemorative bronze statues of Academician Wu Mengchao and Professor Wu Peiyu stood majestically, and flowers paved the way to farewell.
