According to the information provided by Mr. Ding Xicai, a famous duotai artist who is a professor at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in Fugu, the Fugu duorentai has formed an artist team around the time of the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1862), but there is no such title as the duotai, which comes from folk song duet and oratorio sitting singing, so it is sometimes called meditation cavity, and it is also called "singing and playing" when accompanied by the New Year's Festival social fire. Fugu Errentai is rooted in the local area, and survives and develops along with the life, production, politics, economy and culture of the local people. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the people were in flames of war, and the people did not have a good life. In order to escape the war, the people of Hedong and Shanxi and the native people went to Mongolia to make a living outside the exit (outside the Great Wall). On the way, folk artists team up in classes to sell songs along the way. Frequent exchanges between the mouth and the outside have made the Fugu Errentai and jinmeng folk culture integrate and develop.
