Gansu still has advantages in carrying out ice and snow sports, first of all, the provincial sports bureau is very supportive, the establishment of ice and snow sports management center, but also the formation of alpine skiing and biathlon professional teams. Secondly, in the promotion of the public, many competitions have been organized to promote the development of skiing, land curling, pulleys, roller skating and other projects. Of course, when we came to Gansu, we also came with a goal, that is, we wanted to establish several teams, train more young ski enthusiasts, and let more people know about skiing. At present, I have more than forty participants in this training class, although there are not many people, but these children can participate in the youth competition. In the past two years, due to the epidemic, there have been fewer youth competitions, but some children in the team have achieved good results in some domestic ski orienteering competitions. Gansu ice and snow sports started late, but the momentum is not weak, the trained athletes have begun to win in the competition, and Zhao Lei is currently training in the national team, is the only player in our province to participate in the preparation for the Winter Olympics.
