1. Grab the shape of the cast
After Chongzhen, the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty, ascended the throne, he always wanted to do something to save the building that would fall. In the first year of Chongzhen, that is, the opening of the science to take the soldier. After the temple examination, the minister of examination carefully selected the top 36 volumes and presented them to Chongzhen for approval. However, Chongzhen doubted that he might be able to select the talents with his own eyesight, so he burned incense and prayed to the heavens, asking for the gift of true talents. Then copy down the names of the 36 jinshi, make a cast, put them in a jar, and then use gold chopsticks to clip them. As a result, it was sandwiched three times, and it was All Liu Ruozai, so Liu Ruozai was designated as the champion.
2. Duck egg
In the thirty-fifth year of the Ming Dynasty, Ding Weike was huang Shijun, and his family was very poor. At the age of 34, he wanted to go to Beijing to take the exam and asked his father-in-law to borrow travel expenses. My father-in-law saw that he was in rags, and did not even let him in the living room, but gave him two duck eggs. The servants of his father-in-law's family took pity on him and secretly gave him a little money. Unexpectedly, this Huang Shijun turned out to be a high school champion. Later, under the title of "Duck Egg", he wrote an article and gave it to his father-in-law. Many of these aphorisms are widely circulated.
3. The title of the name
When the Qianlong Emperor opened the examination in the fifty-fourth year of the Qianlong Dynasty, the Qianlong Emperor was already 79 years old. Age issues became his main psychological burden. After the temple examination, the Minister of Examination submitted the top ten scrolls to him for approval. When Qianlong saw the tenth place, when he saw that his name was Hu Changling, he couldn't help but feel a movement in his heart. Doesn't the word "long age" mean a long life? So with a big stroke of the pen, he hand-picked Hu Changling as the champion. Taking the title by name is a laughing stock for eternity. Coincidentally, the twenty-ninth year of Qing Guangxu coincided with the seventieth birthday of Empress Dowager Cixi. In this year's temple examination, the chief examiners found that one of the test takers was named Wang Shoupeng, Shou Peng is the meaning of Shou bi Pengzu, Peng Zu is the legendary old life star, living for more than 800 years. In order to please Cixi, the examiners decided to propose Wang Shoupeng as the first place and submit it to the empress dowager for approval. Sure enough, Cixi liked this name very much, and very smoothly named him as a champion.

5. Gluttony
In the thirty-sixth year of the Qing Kangxi Dynasty, he was Li Pan of Tongshan, Jiangsu. His family was poor, and when he entered Beijing for scientific examinations, he did not coil, so he brought 30 steamed buns. Every morning, middle and evening, eat steamed buns. On the day of the exam, everyone else had turned in their papers, and he had not finished answering, sweating profusely, and wrote until the fourth day. Eating steamed buns three times a day is not only a kind of mind, but also an ability. No wonder the Kangxi Emperor heard about it and named him a champion.
6. The person who has been an official for the shortest time
Ming Xuande's fifth year Gengshu Keyuan Lin Zhen was awarded the Hanlin Academy. However, after a month as an official, he was not accustomed to the official style, and asked to resign and return to the field and go home to farm. When the winner has the happiness of being a champion, when the farmer has the happiness of being a farmer.
