Shi Dabin was about eighty years old in his lifetime, and the works he produced were in the thousands, which were widely spread, as evidenced by poems: "Gong Gong Yan said dabin pot, and foreign countries competed for mingyuan discs."
Although his works are numerous, they are rare. By the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Shi Dabin's works were regarded as rare and precious.
Up to now, Shi Dabin's authentic works are only a few dozen, and bidders at auction houses at home and abroad often spend thousands of dollars on his masterpieces.
