Hangzhou old man Jin Zhiyong said in the article that his wife has just died, and his young son has been admitted to a mental hospital due to illness, and he hopes that someone can write a story about his son and let everyone know this "genius translator".
On November 18, Jin Xiaoyu, the subject of the article, responded that he had now been discharged from the hospital, his condition was relatively stable, and he was now translating Benjamin's "Arcade Project".
In the article, Jin Sexyong told the original intention of writing his son's story: on the day of cremation, he did not tell the death of his two sons' wives, and wanted the children to think that their mother was still alive. He looked at his wife's ashes and worried that no one would know his son's story when he was gone, so he called the newspaper.
Jin Xiaoyu was born in 1972 to the same parents as Qingmei Bamboo Horse, and he has an older brother who is 5 years older. When he was six years old, a neighbor's child put a needle in a toy pistol and shot him in the eye, causing the crystal in his left eye to shatter.
Since then, he can only see with one eye.
Jin Sexyong said that the child's life was really too bitter, and after being injured, he comforted him and his wife in turn, saying that it was okay, just get used to it.
In 1984, Jin Xiaoyu followed his parents from abroad to live in Hangzhou. In his freshman year of high school, he successfully entered the top student class, and the teachers said that he had no problem entering the university. But suddenly one day, he began to feel bored with school and told his parents that he didn't want to continue to high school.
Jin Sexyong said that the couple thought that the child was just talking and playing, but they did not expect that their son would really stay at home and not go to school. But what they didn't know was that the child was already sick by then.
In the days when Jin Xiaoyu did not go to school, Jin Sexyong found him 2 jobs. At first, Jin Xiaoyu worked in a bookstore, and within two months, he was fired for arguing with customers.

Later, when Jin Xiaoyu's mother attended the Nankai University 50th Anniversary Alumni Association, a professor threw an olive branch at him, hoping that he would be able to work as a translator at home.
