The spirit of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Resistance League is the great spirit of the spiritual genealogy of the Chinese Communists.

Today, in Hailin City, Heilongjiang Province, there is a non-governmental volunteer who collects and sorts out the cultural relics of the Northeast Anti-Japanese War and establishes a folk anti-war museum all year round - carpenter Wang Haijun.

Recently, Tao Kailong, deputy editor-in-chief of China Charity Online and a young writer, walked into the side of Red Volunteer Wang Haijun to learn about him and his museum story.

On September 18, 2013, the Hailin Linhai SnowField Anti-Japanese War Museum founded by Wang Haijun, a native of Hailin City, as a carpenter, was officially opened.

The "Eighty-Nine-Type" grenadier, Japanese saber, grenade, and rusty weapons witnessed the history of the Japanese invasion of northeast China; Japanese military uniforms, military iron beds, medicine boxes... Seemingly obsolete and abandoned objects, but a record of unforgettable years that cannot be looked back.

These more than 2,000 cultural relics carry red feelings, and Wang Haijun used his meager savings to buy them one by one, which can be described as a difficult time. Wang Haijun said: "Perhaps these items are just a pile of scrap iron in the eyes of others, but in my opinion, they are the evidence of the Japanese invasion of northeast China, and each collection is a 'heart and liver treasure'." ”

Wang Haijun remembers that the first cultural relics collected is a Japanese helmet, which was collected in the countryside in 1997, at first Wang Haijun also thought that the five-pointed star was a domestic military hat, but after checking the relevant information, it was found that it was the military hat of the Japanese army, which was the evidence of the crime of the Japanese army invading China.

That is, from that moment on, Wang Haijun decided to build a folk anti-Japanese war museum, but at that time, his idea was opposed by the whole family, because the family knew that it took a lot of money to build a museum, and the family's economic conditions were very general, and there was extra money to collect cultural relics.

In order to solve the problem of funds, since 1997 Wang Haijun went to Russia to work, through his efforts for more than ten years, he borrowed some money from relatives and friends, and finally set up this folk museum in his own 200 square meters of private houses.

Because there is no income, the docent and administrator are all him, he has been insisting, and the museum is currently moved to the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee and renamed the Northeast Anti-League Spiritual Theme Classroom.

Red volunteer Wang Haijun was awarded the honorary title of "The Most Beautiful Mudanjiang Man" by the Propaganda Department of the Mudanjiang Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Mudanjiang Municipal Spiritual Civilization Construction Office in 2014, and in 2018, he cooperated with the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee of the China Anti-League Spiritual Party Sex Education Base to prepare the Mudanjiang Northeast Anti-League Historical Facts Exhibition Hall, and in the same year, he was rated as a local "rural sage talent" in Hailin City by the Organization Department of the Hailin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and in 2019, the China Anti-League Research Center set up a Hailin Research Base and was hired as a researcher and director. In 2021, he was hired by the Party School of the Hailin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China as a docent of the Mudanjiang Northeast Anti-Corruption League Historical Facts Exhibition Hall, and at the same time published many articles in "Haidongqing", "Ancient And Ancient Grand View" and "Heilongjiang History" to carry forward the spirit of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Alliance.

In peacetime, Wang Haijun studied the history of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Alliance, and since the Japanese army invaded and occupied the Hailin area on March 5, 1932, under the background of the anti-Japanese resistance of "workers, peasants, merchants, students, and soldiers, come together to save the dead", the "Eighth Brigade" in the Hailin area, which monopolized the number of the mountain head and the self-reliance team, appeared on the historical stage. Taking advantage of their familiar terrain and well-informed information, they seized the fighter plane on the snowy plains of Linhai and fought bravely and well, fighting each other and supporting each other, so that the invaders who carried the plaster flag to burn and loot were all evil.

On April 26, 1934, they were officially united to form the Eighth Brigade, also known as the Eighth Brigade of the Northwest Mountains and Forests of Ning'an. Under the banner of the common anti-Japanese resistance, the Eighth Brigade has maintained close contact with the anti-coalition soldiers led by Zhou Baozhong, Li Jingpu, Zhao Shangzhi, and other anti-japanese generals, and they fought against the Japanese invaders in the Hailin area until the autumn of 1941, after more than 100 large and small battles, and made outstanding achievements.

There are many records in local documents such as the "Hailin County Chronicle", and the eight major teams are ": Qishan Team, Yangtze River Dragon Team, Shuangshan Team, Zhanlin Team, Flying Dragon Team, Xisheng Team, Four Seasons Good Team, golden dragon team. They entered the military sequence, and the belief that "the country rises and falls, and the pirate has the responsibility" is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, although most of these people are just ordinary peasants, and they have not even undergone even the simplest training to enter the battlefield, but they are also well-deserved anti-Japanese heroes. They took the anti-Japanese as their duty and were not afraid of bloodshed and sacrifice. They lack clothing, lack of guns and ammunition, lack of the most basic supplies, and their records abound more than the capture of guns and ammunition and other strategic materials:

In October 1932, Zhang Yongshan, the leader of the Xisheng team, led a team to raid the self-defense regiment station in Wenchun Old Black Mountain, Ning'an County, and surrendered 12 guns. Immediately encountered with the japanese troops who rushed in, Zhang Yongshan quickly led the team to move to Pujia Tomb to occupy favorable terrain, fought heroically in the situation of the enemy's outnumbered, suppressed the enemy's fire with 4 machine guns, and won a great victory in the battle from noon until dark. The Japanese suffered heavy casualties, and when cleaning up the battlefield, the bodies of the Japanese army were pulled back to three vehicles, and the "Western Victory Team" wounded 12 people and sacrificed 1 person.

In the spring of 1934, more than 80 members of the Xisheng Brigade of the Eighth Brigade attacked the Japanese transport team at the Ning'an Dong furnace, killing more than 30 Japanese puppet troops, capturing more than 30 rifles, two light machine guns, and seven or eight boxes of ammunition. The West Victory Team sacrificed 1 man.

In the summer of 1934, the Yangtze River Dragon Brigade, the Qishan Brigade, the Zhanlin Brigade, and the Jinbiao Team of Yanshou County of the Eighth Brigade intercepted the puppet army vehicles at Gaolingzi, and the two companies of puppet troops immediately collapsed, capturing more than 200 rifles, more than 30,000 rounds of ammunition, and more than 100 bags of flour. In July 1937, more than 60 members of the Xisheng Team of the Eighth Brigade intercepted the puppet army transport truck at the Guanjia Shop, killing 12 puppet soldiers, taking 2 prisoners, and seizing hundreds of bags of flour.

Under the banner of the anti-Japanese fight against the devils, these simple and strong mountain people are summoned to come with wind and fire, and they can fight and win wars. The location of the war is no longer limited to The Sea Forest. For example, in September 1933, the Flying Dragon Team of the Eighth Brigade, together with the Xinshun Team, the Five Provinces Team, the Five Rivers Team, the Five Tigers Team, and the Second Brother Team of Zhuhe County, attacked the Japanese army camp at Ning'an Shalan Station, and the fierce battle lasted for one day and one night, and the Japanese army suffered heavy casualties, and the joint team lost nearly 100 people. From October 13 to 27, the "Eighth Brigade" twice participated in the battle organized by Zhou Baozhong of the Northeast Anti-Japanese League to attack the Japanese army in the Ning'an area.

With the increasing changes in the anti-Japanese situation, the infiltration of Japanese agents into China's civilian armed forces has almost reached a white-hot point. On this forest and sea snowfield, there was once a lot of thrilling games about lurking and anti-sufficiency. According to the archives: "In the autumn of the 8th year of the puppet Manchu Kant (that is, in the autumn of 1941), more than 400 people of the Eighth Brigade were deceived by Japanese agents to attack the Jiaohe Japanese army in Jiaohe Province, and were surrounded by heavy Japanese troops, of which more than 100 died and did not surrender, and were shot and killed on the spot by the Japanese army."

Wang Haijun said: Today's young people worship entertainment stars, and know very little about modern history, especially the history of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Resistance League, this phenomenon deserves deep consideration and vigilance, today's happy life is because the ancestors threw their heads and spilled their blood for the survival of the country, forgetting is equal to betrayal, and they only want to remind people through these real cultural relics that history cannot be forgotten, and the people of the country should be self-reliant!
