The most powerful prince of the Qing Dynasty, Dolgun, also had to perform rituals when he saw it, but he left behind the notoriety of killing his wife and children

Kangxi once made an evaluation of a Qing Dynasty prince: "At the time of the loyal crown, the merits were shown to future generations." It can be seen that in the eyes of Kangxi, this prince has a very high status, as we all know, in the early years of the Qing Dynasty, there were eight iron hat kings, and this prince's family accounted for three, namely Daishan the Prince of Lilie, Yue Tuo, the King of Keqin County, and LeKe Dehun, the King of Shuncheng County. Today, I want to talk about Prince Li Lie's Daishan.

Daishan was the second son of the Qing Taizu Nurhaci, and his mother was Nurhachi's original wife (Yuan Concubine) Tong Jiashi.

It is said that in the year of Daisan's birth, that is, in the eleventh year of the Wanli Calendar (1583), his father, relying on the support of his father-in-law Talmu Bayan, began his journey to unify the Jurchen tribes with thirteen pairs of armor. However, unexpectedly, in the second year of Nurhaci's rebellion, his concubine Tong Jiashi of Fujin passed away, leaving only three young children, in addition to Daishan, dongguo gege and Chu Ying.

At that time, Nurhaci was in a difficult period of entrepreneurship, often hunted down by enemies, once, as a last resort, Nurhaci hid the three sisters and brothers of Daishan under the cabinet, which escaped the disaster. Dai Shan lived on the battlefield with his father since he was a child, and gradually adapted to the sword shadow and bloody life, and this environment also tempered Dai Shan to a certain extent, and he grew into a heroic and courageous Manchurian teenager.

When Daishan was 16 years old, he first followed his father Nurhaci to conquest the Haixi Jurchens and made military merits, so he was given the title of Baylor. Later, the lord of the East Sea Lady Feiyou City came to attach himself, Daishan and his brother Chu Ying went to greet him, encountered an ambush by the Urab, Daishan fought bravely, won a great victory, and beheaded the Urab Belle Bokduo, and obtained the beautiful title of "Ancient Ying Batulu".

In the 40th year of the Wanli Calendar (1612), Daishan and several other brothers, together with five ministers, denounced his eldest brother Chu Ying to his father Nurhaci, who stripped Chu Ying of his heir (prince) status and imprisoned him to death three years later.

After the fall of Chu Ying, Daishan became nurhaci's oldest and most prestigious prince, and he also received two red flags, nurhaci once said: "After a hundred years of my life, my young sons and dafujin will be handed over to the eldest brother (referring to Daishan) for adoption." "This actually establishes the status of the crown prince of Daishan."

However, in the fifth year of the Mandate of Heaven (1620), another incident occurred within the Later Jin regime, and Nurhaci's concubine DaiYincha denounced the ambiguous relationship between Dai belle Daishan and the grand concubine Abbahai, and Daishan not only ate the food sent by Abbahai, but also often went out at night.

Nurhaci immediately sent someone to investigate, and after some investigation, there was such a thing, but after all, the ugliness of the family could not be publicized, so he gave Abhayan a charge of "secretly hiding gold veils" and abandoned him. Although Abhay was later re-made a concubine, the impact of this on Daishan was great. In addition, there was chaos in the good family in this era.

It is said that Daishan's eldest son Yue Tuo and second son Shuo Tuo were born to the original Li Jia clan, but Li Jia died early, and since the third, fourth and even fifth sons of the Fu Jin Yehenara clan gave birth, Dai Shan favored the younger son. Once, when Daishan saw that the mansion of his eldest son Yue Tuo was more magnificent than his own, he wanted to occupy it, and what was even more unexpected was that Daishan actually forced his second son Shuotuo to almost defect to the Ming Dynasty, which made Nurhaci extremely dissatisfied and severely reprimanded Daishan.

The scolded Daishan did not dare to be careless, and when he returned home, he killed the Jifu Jin Yehenara clan, and this series of events added up to completely ruined Daishan's political future, after which Daishan lost his position as crown prince and was replaced by the eight great Belles in charge of state affairs.

Although Daishan had no connection with the throne, he had two meritorious deeds.

The first time was after Nurhaci's death, Daishan supported Emperor Taiji to inherit the Khan's throne, and daishan was made the Prince of Heshuoli when Emperor Taiji was proclaimed emperor in 1636, but after that, Daishan was gradually snubbed and even once idled at home.

The second time was after the death of Emperor Taiji, when the Rui Prince Dorgon and the Prince of Su, Hauge, fought fiercely, and although Fu Li Fu Lin (Shunzhi) was not proposed by DaiShan, his prestige in the court was still very high, and he finally showed his attitude. (Note: The most likely person who proposed to support the Shunzhi Emperor was Prince Zilharang of Zheng)

Subsequently, Daishan's second son Shuoto colluded with his nephew Ada li to plot against Dolgun, which was personally exposed by Daishan, and Shuoto and Adali were killed, and people praised Daishan's act of killing relatives in righteousness: "Great righteousness destroys relatives, Bire Zhou Gong." ”

After Shunzhi succeeded to the throne, Dorgon gained regency power, although Daishan was the most prestigious prince, and Dorgon had to perform rituals when he saw it, but at this time, Daishan was old and did not have so much energy to participate in the government, so he was idle at home. On October 11, 2005, Dai Shan died of illness in Beijing at the age of 66.

In the sixth year of Shunzhi, the Qing court erected a monument to Daishan.

In the tenth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, Kangxi gave this uncle the nickname "Lie" and called him the Prince of Lilie.

In the nineteenth year of Qianlong, Dai Shan entered the ancestral hall of King Shengjingxian. Forty-three years after Qianlong, Dai Shan was worthy of the Taimiao Temple.
