In October 1934, the Central Red Army set out from Ruijin on a long march, which upset the 19-year-old female Red Army officer Zhong Yuelin, for no other reason than him, when Zhong Yuelin was suffering from dysentery and always had to go to the toilet.

When the regimental commander Dong Biwu heard the news, he persuaded Zhong Yuelin to stay, but Zhong Yuelin said: "
Take one step at a time, die on the road without remorse, do not drag down the troops.
In this way, Dong Biwu gave Zhong Yuelin a bag of medicine, and she embarked on the road of the Long March.
Zhong Yuelin, a native of Yudu County, Jiangxi, came from a poor family, and when he was 8 years old, he was sent by his parents to a family as a child bridesmaid, and Zhong Yuelin suffered a lot when he was a child.
Yudu County is only more than 160 kilometers away from Ruijin, the cradle of the "Republic", so at a young age, Zhong Yuelin was influenced by the revolution, stood guard and took care of the wounded of the Red Army, and made great progress in thinking.
In 1931, at the age of 16, Zhong Yuelin broke through the shackles of his family and officially joined the revolution, and in the autumn of 1933, Zhong Yuelin followed the Red Army to Ruijin and worked in the Central Women's Department.
Ruijin was the "capital" of the Central Soviet Region and a thorn in the eyes of the reactionaries, and after the Great War in the Central Plains, Chiang Kai-shek never stopped encircling and suppressing the Red Army.
In December 1930, Chiang Kai-shek mobilized 100,000 troops to encircle and suppress the Red Army; in April 1931, Chiang Kai-shek mobilized 18 divisions and 200,000 troops to encircle and suppress the Red Army; in July 1931, he mobilized 300,000 troops to encircle and suppress the Red Army; in July 1933, he mobilized another 400,000 troops to encircle and suppress the Red Army.
In the matter of encircling and suppressing the Red Army, Chiang Kai-shek can be said to have made sufficient blood, but in the first four encirclements and suppressions, the Central Red Army has turned the danger into a disaster and won the final victory.
In September 1933, Chiang Kai-shek launched the fifth encirclement and suppression of the Red Army, this time, Chiang Kai-shek sent 1 million troops and adopted "fortress doctrine" step by step as a battalion, while Wang Ming gave up guerrilla warfare and mobile warfare to use position warfare, and "confronted the hard" with the Nationalist army.
After embarking on the road of the Long March, Zhong Yuelin and 32 female soldiers of the Red Army formed a "women's work group" and marched with a stretcher, although the road of the Long March was hard and dangerous, but it was not left behind by the organization, Zhong Yuelin was very happy.
Along the way, Zhong Yuelin and his comrades-in-arms publicized the policies of the Red Army, prepared food, and cared for the wounded. Soon after, a Red Army general entered Zhong Yuelin's line of sight, and he was Song Renqian.
Song Renqian, a native of Liuyang, Hunan, whose original name was Song Yunqin, and Zhong Yuelin, were all from a poor background, had served as a primary school teacher, became a party member in 1926, joined the peasant movement, after the autumn harvest uprising, went up to Jinggangshan with the Red Army, five times anti-encirclement and suppression, Song Renqian participated, by the time of the Long March, Song Renqian was already the political commissar of the cadre regiment of the Central Column.
At the time of the Long March, Song Renqiang's troops made outstanding contributions to the strong crossing of the Wu river, the conquest of Zunyi, and the four crossings of Chishui, and were famous generals of the Central Army at that time.
However, since joining the revolution, Song Renqian has been busy with the revolutionary cause and has no time to take care of himself, so he is nearly 30 years old and has not yet formed a family, which makes his comrades-in-arms very anxious. Chen Geng took Song Renqian to the "Women's Group" to know the female comrades, and when he heard Song Renqian's name, Zhong Yuelin felt very funny, so he silently paid attention to this person, and after understanding Song Renqian's past, Zhong Yuelin had a great affection for Song Renqian, but the two did not have much contact.
In October 1935, the Central Red Army arrived in northern Shaanxi, temporarily settled, this time He Zizhen talked to Zhong Yuelin, saying that he wanted to find an object for Zhong Yuelin, when he heard that it was Song Renqian who introduced her, Zhong Yuelin shyly nodded in agreement, and the two talked about love.....
In December 1935, after two months of love, the 20-year-old Zhong Yuelin married the 26-year-old Song Renqian.
Although it was introduced by people, before marriage, the two had some understanding of each other, so after marriage, Song Renqian and Zhong Yuelin got along extremely well, but unfortunately, not long after the marriage, Song Renqian was transferred to other troops, and the husband and wife separated.
In 1938, Zhong Yuelin, who had been separated for 3 years, found her husband Song Renqian on the front line and faced a dangerous environment with her husband, and in 1940, in the 5th year of marriage, the two had a love crystallization, and a daughter Song Qin was born.
In 1945, the year of victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan, the eldest son, Song Kehuang, was born.
Since then, Song Renqian and his wife have given birth to 5 daughters, 7 children around the knees, envying others.
After the founding of New China, Song Renqian went to Yunnan to work, successively serving as the first secretary and the military political commissar, and although he was busy with work, he would also take time to accompany his wife and children.
In 1966, when the catastrophe came, Song Renqian was detained, and his wife Zhong Yuelin resolutely demanded that he come to Song Renqian's side and take care of Song Renqian's life. After the clouds cleared and the fog cleared, the couple spent a happy old age.
In 2005, Song Renqian passed away at the age of 95, and Zhong Yuelin lost her husband who had accompanied him for 70 years.
In 2009, Zhong Yuelin also completed his own life path at the age of 94.
