According to the Book of the Later Han Dynasty, vol. 86, "The Biography of the Southern Barbarians and the Southwest Yilie": "When the emperor died, his soul became a white tiger, and the Ba people drank human blood with a tiger, so they served people." The wind of the White Tiger worshipped by the Ba people began with the Emperor. Since then, the Ba people have become popular in worship of the tiger, and a series of Ba people worship the tiger ceremonies and rituals have been produced.

According to archaeological excavations in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area and Bashu and other places, tiger stripes are the more common decorative patterns on the bronze weapons of the Ba people. According to a large number of excavated tiger buttons, it also corroborates the fact that the Ba people worship the tiger. Du Zhiming said that it can be seen that the White Tiger culture runs through the history of the Ba people and has a profound impact on the development of the Ba people, the Ba di and their descendants of the Tujia family.

In nature, the tiger is the "chief of a hundred beasts", whether it is the "king of the mountains", the tiger of the totem, or the tiger of the town house and the costume of the "tiger head tiger brain", which are the specific manifestations of Chinese tiger culture.

The exhibition will last until 20 March, and the public can visit the Three Gorges Museum for free.
