The speed is 144 kilometers per hour, which is already higher than that of developed countries such as the United States and Japan, and since then, all brands have to adapt to changes in this standard. When Merkel first became Chancellor of Germany, she wanted to limit the speed of German roads, which immediately attracted opposition from the German automotive industry. Opponents argue that if German roads also have a speed limit of 120 km/h, the advantages of the German automotive industry will disappear in an instant.
