On January 9, 21 new locally confirmed cases of covid-19 were all in Jinnan District

According to the official public account of the Tianjin Municipal Health Commission "Healthy Tianjin", at 0-24:00 on January 9, 2022, there were 21 new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in Tianjin (all in Jinnan District). There were 4 new confirmed cases of imported COVID-19 from abroad. There were 2 new cases of local asymptomatic infection and 5 new cases of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad.

As of January 9, Tianjin has reported a cumulative total of 172 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia, 145 discharged cases, 3 deaths, and 24 cases in hospital.

A total of 478 confirmed cases of imported novel coronavirus pneumonia have been reported, 396 discharged cases, and 82 cases are in hospital.

A total of 474 cases of asymptomatic infection were reported (including 467 cases imported from abroad), of which 365 cases were released from medical observation, 51 cases were still under medical observation (including 2 cases in China and 49 cases imported from abroad), and 58 cases were converted into confirmed cases.

At present, a total of 21,007 close contacts have been investigated and traced, and 2831 people are still under medical observation.
