According to the official WeChat public account of the Tianjin Municipal Health Commission "Healthy Tianjin", at 0-24:00 on January 18, 2022, there were 14 new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in Tianjin. There are no new confirmed cases of imported COVID-19 from abroad. There are no new indigenous asymptomatic infected persons, and no new asymptomatic infected people imported from abroad.

From January 8, 2022 to January 18, 2022, Tianjin has reported a total of 326 confirmed cases of covid-19 and 326 cases in hospital. A total of 22 asymptomatic infected people have been reported, of which 12 are still under medical observation and 10 are confirmed cases.

From January 2020 to January 18, 2022, Tianjin has reported a total of 474 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia, 145 discharged cases, 3 deaths, and 326 cases in hospital. A total of 502 confirmed cases of imported novel coronavirus pneumonia have been reported, 422 discharged cases and 80 cases are in hospital. A total of 501 cases of asymptomatic infection (474 cases imported from abroad) were reported, of which 377 cases were released from medical observation, 53 cases were still under medical observation (including 12 cases in China and 41 cases imported from abroad), and 71 cases were converted to confirmed cases. A total of 29,110 close contacts have been traced, and 10,090 people are still under medical observation.
