The domestic leader finally stood 6nm

The author understands that the platform is the company's first 6nm 5G chip, which means that Unigroup Zhanrui, a domestic chip monopoly, has finally gained a foothold on the 6nm process node.
It is worth mentioning that the Tanggula T770 in the second-generation 5G chip under Tsinghua Unigroup Zhanrui has been used by China Telecom's new generation of cloud mobile phone Tianyi No. 1.
Another Tanggula T760 is also equipped with the new generation of 5G mobile phones of ZTE and Hisense. It can be seen that although Tsinghua Tsinghua Has not yet reached the level of Huawei HiSilicon in the chip design process, it can also occupy a place in the global market.
Mentioning this, the author also got another good news, this good news is related to Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin chip.
Huawei chips ushered in a turnaround
In the second half of 2020, HiSilicon Kirin was almost completely blocked, and TSMC was affected by the ban and no longer oem chips for Huawei.
Since then, Huawei HiSilicon has not launched a new generation of Kirin mobile phone processors. However, with the relaxation of the overseas blockade of Huawei, HiSilicon seems to have ushered in a turnaround.

Fast Technology also reported that there are reports in the industry that Huawei has the hope of updating two Kirin chips in 2022, the two new products are Kirin 830 and Kirin 720 processors.
The author understands that the Kirin 830 and Kirin 720 processors both use a 14nm process. From the perspective of chip models, Kirin 830 and Kirin 720 should be upgraded versions of Kirin 820 and Kirin 710.
However, due to the ban on Huawei HiSilicon, it is impossible for wafer foundries to produce high-precision chips for it, so these two "upgraded" chips are only upgrades in the author's opinion.
You know, Kirin 820 uses a 7nm process, while Kirin 710 uses a 12nm process, no matter which one is more advanced than Kirin 830 and Kirin 720.
However, there is nothing wrong with Huawei's Kirin new product process, after all, the US blockade of Huawei is not small, even SMIC, which failed to overcome the 7nm process, was forced to suspend relevant cooperation with Huawei.
Therefore, in the author's opinion, it is not easy for HiSilicon Kirin to launch new products, but this also means that Huawei HiSilicon can only exert its strength in the low-end market for the time being, and has lost its right to speak in the high-end market.
As for whether the Kirin 830 and Kirin 720 support 5G networks, there is no relevant revelation on the network at present.
In the author's opinion, although Huawei cannot launch 5G mobile phones at this stage, it still has the ability to make the new mobile phone processor support 5G networks.
After all, in the chip design link, Huawei HiSilicon can do it, but unfortunately, because the 5G RF front end is banned, even if the Kirin 830 and Kirin 720 can support 5G networks, the relevant models may not be able to have 5G network link functions.
