But soon, Su Shi found that local pork was cheap, tried and tested, and finally deciphered the "code" for making food, "slow fire, less water ... When the fire is full, it is beautiful. ”
It didn't matter if he had no money, he was busy with official business, so he mobilized his family to reclaim a slope in the east of the city and subsidize his livelihood by farming. In his spare time, he reads books, is happy, and will also pull friends to enjoy the moon together.
When he was demoted to Huizhou, he still studied food, bought lamb backbones that no one wanted, boiled them, dipped them in wine, sprinkled with salt, and roasted them over the fire. Later, some people joked that this may be the earliest way to eat sheep scorpions.
He also likes to eat lychees, and has also expressed his attitude, "Three hundred lychees a day, and he will not quit being a Lingnanian."
In the more remote Danzhou, he cooked vegetables and ate them, which he called "the taste of nature". Later, Su Shi felt that the oysters were quite delicious, and quickly developed a way to eat them: the oyster meat was cooked with wine, and the larger ones were selected to roast, which was delicious.
From his poems, people see Su Dongpo's optimism. But is reality really so beautiful? not necessarily. It's just that he lives a very transparent life and is willing to find more fun from life.

Wang Fuyou underwent court training and was familiar with poetry and books, but he never showed off in front of people. Su Shi likes to read, so she quietly accompanied her, and found that her husband had missed something, so she reminded her in time.
For Su Shi, Wang Fu is a rare life partner. However, not long after, Su Shi suffered a heavy blow: his wife died.
He wrote an epitaph for his deceased wife, and one passage reads: "Jun and Shi Qinser are only one in ten years." Shi Yu wrote a grief inscription in the year after the death of the king, with the inscription 'Epitaph of the Deceased Wife Wang'. Just a few lines, hiding unspeakable pain.
In the following ten years, Su Shi experienced many storms. In 1075, he was already the governor of Mizhou, and one day in the first month, he dreamed that he had returned to his hometown, and saw his dead wife's makeup, helplessly separated forever, "there is no word for each other, only a thousand tears." ”

When he was an official, he did his duty. Some articles summarize that in Hangzhou, he dredged the West Lake and built one of the ten scenic spots of the West Lake - Spring Dawn of the Su Causeway. Exiled to Huizhou, he improved people's livelihood and designed the earliest tap water supply system in Guangzhou.
He was proficient in poetry, painting, calligraphy, and possessed a full spiritual world, and no matter how difficult it was, he never gave up. It is said that he once built a "snow hall" for friends to gather on the eastern slope of Huangzhou, and the four walls painted a large snow scene, which is quite poetic.
Experiencing the hardships of labor, he wrote "Eight Songs of Dongpo"; he was always full of hope for life. Life inevitably has a low, the first thing that needs to be crossed is the hurdle of oneself. Su Shi is such an optimist, and his mentality is always calm and calm.
