Ma Baoyu, Hu Delin, and Hu Fucai were martyred on the spot, and Ge Zhenlin and Song Xueyi were hung by the branches protruding from the mountain, which saved them.

In 1950, Zhao Yukun was escorted back to Yi County, just at the foot of the Mountain where he forced the five heroes to jump off a cliff, and was executed by shooting.
