Mercedes-Benz electric concept car released! With an endurance of 1,000 kilometers, the hottest elements such as new energy and new materials are included

Daimler has unveiled a new all-electric concept vision EQXX that can travel 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) on a single charge and consume less than 10 kilowatts per 100 kilometers. The concept also has 117 solar cells on the roof, which is the power system that powers many auxiliary equipment. Companies are trying to convince consumers that a lack of charging infrastructure doesn't necessarily become an obstacle to buying a battery-powered car.

The endurance of this Mercedes-Benz concept car is based on computer simulation tests, not actual driving. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's estimates, the VISION EQXX concept car can travel a longer distance on a single charge than the Toyota Prius Hybrid when it is fully fueled. That's almost as far as the diesel-powered Chevrolet Suburban can travel in an 28-gallon fuel tank. That's also much farther away than any other electric car currently in the U.S. Tesla, the leader in electric vehicles, said its Model S has an expected range of 396 miles, while Lucid said its official EPA rating is 520 miles.

This futuristic luxury car also features a host of innovative recycled and sustainable materials, including mushroom fibers, ground cacti and food scraps.

The car's interior is made of materials that include a leather alternative called Mylo. Mylo is produced using mycelium, which Daimler describes as "the underground root-like structure of mushrooms." The door handle is made from Biosteel fiber produced by AMsilk, a high-strength biotechnology material that is certified as biodegradable pure plant silk, and this biotechnological material is also the first application in a car. Carpets are woven with 100% bamboo fiber, a natural raw material that, in addition to growing quickly and renewablely, has a luxurious look and texture.

The Vision EQXX concept car represents that Daimler AG is looking to use different materials in its vehicles. Not only Daimler AG, but also the entire automotive industry has begun to pay attention to the use of new materials. Last September, Volvo Cars announced that it wanted all the models it sold to be leather-free by 2030. Tesla said in 2019 that the interior of its Model 3 is "100% leather-free." Porsche also offers customers a leather-free option for the interior of the all-electric Taycan.

The VISION EQXX concept car demonstrates a major new development in electric vehicles: it sets new standards in terms of energy efficiency and endurance in actual transportation, and is expected to revolutionize the development of electric vehicles.

At present, we are seeing more and more concept cars achieving serial production, such as the Mercedes-Benz concept car Vision EQS and BMW concept car i4, but Daimler has not yet announced plans for its latest prototype car, calling the car a "new technology blueprint for serial production", so in the next few years, it is not surprising to see some functions of EQXX in Daimler electric vehicles.
