Unlike most models that tested the maximum range, most test vehicles completed at lower speeds, while the new Vision EQXX model traveled at 87.4 km/h for 11 hours and 32 minutes, and after arriving at the coast of Cassis, the new car dashboard showed that the vehicle still had a range of 140 km remaining, and its energy consumption per 100 km was only 8.7 kW·h.
The reason for this high range is due to Mercedes-Benz's new battery technology, advanced aerodynamic design and a series of weight reduction measures, the wind resistance coefficient of the new car is reduced to 0.17, and the roof of the new car is equipped with 117 small solar panels, which can provide an additional 2% of the vehicle's cruising range. The new car is equipped with a 100kW·h battery pack and a maximum power of 180kW electric motor, its battery is 50% smaller than the Mercedes-Benz EQS, the weight is reduced by 30%, and the new car also adopts a thermal management system to ensure that the vehicle battery is in a constant temperature state.
