According to the screenshots, BYD's next-generation Han/Tang DM-i and DM-p cars will have a pure electric range of more than 200 kilometers and a maximum of 252 kilometers. New vehicles are expected to be launched in the first half of 2022 and will be the highest level of pure electric endurance among plug-in hybrid models.

According to the plan, BYD Han will launch different versions of models such as large battery long endurance (Han DM-i) and four-wheel drive high performance version (Han DM-p), which are equipped with high-capacity power blade batteries at the beginning, with a power of 18.3kW·h or 37.6kW·h, and a comprehensive endurance of more than 1200 kilometers. Thanks to the blessing of BYD's super hybrid DM-i technology, the pure electric endurance of Han DM-i can reach 242 kilometers, and the performance of the four-wheel drive version of Han DM-p is also expected.

Referring to the information previously published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in terms of power, Han DM-i is equipped with a 1.5T engine + motor

Of the plug-in hybrid system, the maximum power of the 1.5T engine codenamed BYD476ZQC is 102kW, the permanent magnet synchronous motor model is TZ220XYG, the maximum power reaches 145kW, and the declared fuel consumption value of the vehicle is 0.8L/100km and 1.4L/100km, respectively. The official B state power loss fuel consumption value is about 4.2L/100km-5.3L/100km.

Referring to the current Tang DM-i, the new Tang DM-i will be equipped with the Xiaoyun-Plug-In Hybrid Turbocharged 1.5Ti High Efficiency Engine (possibly equipped with a 2.0T engine), the EHS Electric Hybrid System and the DM-i Super Hybrid Special Power Blade Battery as the core of the electrically-based hybrid technology, the long-endurance version is expected to carry a battery capacity of up to 45kWh, the NEDC comprehensive working condition EV mileage can reach up to 240 kilometers, and the oilable and electric comprehensive endurance can reach up to 1200 kilometers. Even without electricity, Tang DM-i's lost fuel consumption is expected to be around 5.5L, far lower than that of the same level of fuel vehicles.

According to the annual sales results announced by BYD on January 4, in the past December, BYD's new energy passenger cars soared by 236.4% year-on-year to 92,823 units, breaking through the 90,000 mark for two consecutive months, once again breaking the record. This is also a new Chinese record as of now, which is 2.4 times the previous Chinese record.
